I see these faces of beauty.
The girls I looked up to as I was young.
The Latina community is so looked up upon as being
•exotic
•beautiful
•cute
I see these faces, I wish to be.
Seeing them in magazines and Telenovelas. They as my inspiration to be proud of my background.
Yet I look in the mirror I see a little girl.
A little girl with no features that signify the Latina features.
She is just a awkward shy skinny little white girl with Asian eyes.
Wishing that she could represent who she really is.
Represent the beauty
Of the ones who she called role models of her youth.
