"Bye, Uncle Adam!" She screeched quickly. He sent Cherry a wink as she dashed out the door with a half-eaten banana in her right hand.

As she waited for the bus while attempting to tame her wild brownish blonde hair, rain drops began sprinkling from the sky, and soon transformed into a pouring disaster. This is definitely my day; she sarcastically thought.

Cherry fell in a few puddles on her way to school. "If I only had a car, this wouldn't be happening!" She muttered to herself. Her shoes were mud-filled and her socks were brown. (They used to be white but oh well.) Distasteful stares and glances were sent her way but she really didn't care because she was already late. "I'm here, I'm here!" She yelled, still out of breath from running down the halls with textbooks grasped in her arms. The teacher glared at Cherry but didn't say anything.

At the end of class, the girls all had their white iPhone's in their hands, bare knee's trembling with excitement. There was a crowd outside of the school, a big one to be exact and she wanted to know what all of the commotion was all about so she tapped a girl on the shoulder.

     "What's going on?"

"It's Five Seconds of Summer! Apparently Michael's aunt is Principle Jones! He's come to visit her for a while!" The girl squealed rather annoyingly. Cherry nodded nonchalantly, thinking and wondering how it was even possible for Principle Jones to be Michael Clifford's aunt.

A handful of girls gave Cherry mean stares and she eyed them back. Why are they looking at me this way; she thought. One of the girls began giggling while holding up her phone. It was on camera, facing Cherry. Once she realized what she looked like, she covered her mouth with her hand.

     "Fuck"

Cherry knew that she couldn't be seen by 5sos (specifically Calum) looking like a homeless person. So she was just about to run back to the school to get her extra clothes when a familiar voice that she didn't expect to hear erupted over the loud chattering of all the crazed teenage girls.

"I remember you! You're the girl who doesn't like me."

Girls that surrounded the four boys all quieted down and stared blankly at Ashton and Cherry while they had a friendly conversation that wasn't at all that friendly.

Cherry scoffed at Ashton and took a step back with her muddy shoes making disturbing sloshing noises with each delicate step she took. The celebrity eyed her appearance and shook his head with a happy grin.

Of course, Cherry did not enjoy this happy grinning of his because why on earth was he grinning anyway?

Ashton quickly, (but gently) wrapped his large hand around Cherry's thin wrist and brought her to their tourbus. Girls squealed and swiftly followed after, trying to get a chance to get inside the tourbus, which was stupid, really, because they had the type of security that One Direction has.

Ashton knocked aggressively on the door and it opened. The steps were high and Cherry didn't know if she could even get onto the first one. The screaming girls were getting closer and Ashton had already disappeared into the tourbus. Just when Cherry was about to turn and run away, strong arms lifted her over their shoulder and jumped into the tourbus.

She squealed a little, but not too loud for she knew the boys have had enough of squeals and screams. As she was put down onto a very uncomfortable couch, her cheeks grew a Scarlet colour when her so called hero put her down; Calum.

Her lips kind of went dry after that, along with a few handful sweats dripping down the sides of her cheeks.  She couldn't help it. A teenage heartthrob just carried her. How could she not be freaking out?

Soon, the two other boys joined the three's company. Michael was fine with more company. Either that or he didn't really care because he just took a glance at Cherry and disappeared into the rest of the unseen tourbus.

On the other hand, Luke didn't agree. He closed the curtains and shut the door leading to the front of the bus so he had some privacy to talk to Ashton, Cherry and Calum. When he was finished, he turned to the three with a scowl on his stressed looking face and his arms crossed in front of him.

His blue eyes burnt holes into Cherry as she looked down at her now ruined, muddy shoes. She didn't expect Luke to be.. strict. She'd expect him to be the one who let loose the one since he was the youngest, but she realized that she was only being stereotypical.

Luke took a deep breath and knelt down beside Cherry. "I'm going to ask you a few questions. Answer truthfully or else." His tone was way too harsh for Cherry's liking, but hey, what could she do about it?

Ashton stood up abruptly just when Luke yanked Cherry from her spot on the créme coloured couch. "You can't touch her like that!" Ashton yelled quite angrily. Luke's grip on her wrist loosened but he did not let go. Cherry tried to wiggle out of his grip but he just glared at her and shook his head.

Cherry's wrist throbbed and her stomach was grumbling. "Please.. will you let go?" Her voice was different.. it was polite. Luke's grip tightened as he turned away from the trembling petite girl. Cherry felt something crack under the skin of her wrist as Luke's grip got tighter and more suffocating.

She let out a suffering cry and tears poured out of her eyes as her knees fell to the ground. Ashton strode over to Luke and shoved him roughly, causing Luke to let go and stumble backwards. "Don't you dare touch me!" Luke roared, getting up quickly. Calum blocked Luke from getting to Ashton and Cherry. "Michael!" Calum hollered, holding the younger boy back.

Michael ran in and dragged Luke by his flannel out of the living room area. Calum gave a sympathetic look at Cherry before quickly following Michael and Luke. That left Ashton and Cherry.

Cherry was sobbing into her other hand while Ashton attempted to put a cast around her wrist. When he finished, he opened his arms for her and she willingly cried into them. Ashton gently swayed back and forth with her small body fitting into his and her sobs turned into hiccups. It was a technique he used on his younger sister when she was a baby.

He accidentally touched her wrist and she let out a cry, but he quickly kissed her head and repeatedly murmured,

     "I'm sorry"
