Returning a Lost Item, Finding a New Interest

You were running down the school hallway frantically. Great, I'm gonna be late to practice, you thought.

You had been reading your latest favorite manga and lost track of time. Now you were rushing to get to volleyball practice. You turned the corner when all of a sudden you slammed into someone's chest.

"Whoa there," a pair of strong hands grabbed you by the shoulders keeping you from falling. You looked up to see and it was no other than the very famous handsome boy, Oikawa.

Oh wow, you thought, he's really cute. Just then you remembered you had a very important place you had to be. "Ah, I'm gonna be late," you exclaimed. You then kept running down the hall. "Sorry," you yelled back and sprinted away.

Oikawa and Iwaizumi looked at one another. "Well she's fast," spoke Oikawa. "She didn't even take the time to admire me."

Iwaizumi rolled his eyes. "She obviously has something more important to do," he said.

Just then Oikawa noticed something lying on the ground. "Hey look," he said. "Looks like she dropped something." He picked up the manga book you were reading. "We should probably return it to her."

"Well it looks like she was headed towards the gym," said Iwaizumi. "Come on I'll join you."

Both boys headed towards the gym. "You know," said Oikawa. "She's pretty cute."

Iwaizumi responded with a kick. "Don't start getting any ideas. Didn't you learn anything from your last relationship? You're so busy with school and volleyball. You'll just hurt the girl."

Oikawa looked solemnly at the ground. "I guess you're right, still," he said stretching his arms behind his head, "You have to admit she is pretty cute," he smiled.

Iwaizumi kicked him again. "Ow, Iwa-chan," cried Oikawa.

You finally made it to practice. You were greeted and teased by your teammates for being late. After a quick warmup, you joined them a practice match. Just then Oikawa and Iwazumi walked into the gym.

"Do you see here," asked Oikawa.

"She's over there playing with the girls' volleyball team," pointed out Iwazumi. "Looks like she's the libero."

"Makes sense since she's so small," smirked Oikawa.

You felt chills as you were playing.

"What's wrong," asked one of your teammates sensing your discomfort.

"I feel like someone is making fun of my height," you say slightly pissed. You then made a quick receive on the ball.

The boys watched you play for a while. They were impressed by the way you received the ball with ease and kept it alive. Just then the ball went flying far away out of your team's reach, but you still ran after it.

"Oh, looks like she's not going to make it, too bad," said Oikawa with sarcastic sympathy.

Just then much to the boys surprise you slid feet first towards the ball and kicked it in the air towards your team. You crashed into the wall, but you teammates managed to get the ball and scored a point. Your team members ran up to you impressed by your moves, but you were still a bit too dazed to fully thank them.

"Wow," said Iwazumi. "I think she may be better than you." Of course, he didn't think so but he just said that to tick Oikawa off.

"What," yelled a horrified Oikawa. "No one is better than me. Not even that stupid annoying Tobio."
