JACKS POV

Jake won't stop. He will not stop thrashing against Mark and I.

He rips his wrists from our hands, wrapping his bear-paw around the nurses wrist, yanking the needle out of his arm, "LUCKY!!!"

His screams are louder and harsher. Blood leaks out of his arm, bruising starting to appear already.

Mark slams his hand onto Jake's chest, pinning him to the bed. He climbs on top of him and settles his hips over Jake's kneecaps, "You listen to me, Jake! Lucky is down the hall, but you can't see her until you settle your ass down and let us help you."

Jake's eyes ignite with fear as another nurse approaches him. He looks over at me and I nod my head slowly.

"I won't let you see my wife acting like this. Not only Lucky but the kids too. They can't see their uncle like this."

I watch a lump travel down his throat as he nods slowly.

The nurse does as she needs, Jake trying to get away from Mark, but Mark is holding his arms down by holding them and his chest by laying on top of him.

I run my fingers through Jake's hair, getting all the tangles out.

"She's got all my dreams, I got these broken things and they always disagree. But if there's one real thing you would choose to believe, just don't lose your faith in me." (Mayday Parade: You're Dead Wrong) Mark softly sings into Jake's ear, making his eyes close.

Jake's body becomes stiff, heavy breathing traveling from his lips.

Mark crawls off of him, rubbing his chest.

The nurses are horrified now, so they basically tie him to the bed, black lines of nylon over his ankles, wrist and chest.

I turn to a nurse, "Is there any chance that we can bring (Y/N) in here to see him? I'm her husband and I think it's a desperate measure  to make sure he doesn't sock someone." I point over my shoulder to the sleepy Jake.

"I'll see what I can do." She hurries out of the room.

"You stay here, I'm going to get Lacey and Hunter." I look at Mark who nods.

I sprint down to Lucky's room where she's singing to the kids. I stand in the doorway for a moment, listening to her.

"By the time I was your age, I'd give anything
To fall in love truly, was all I could think
That's when I met your mother, the girl of my dreams
The most beautiful woman, that I'd ever seen

She said, "Boy, can I tell you a wonderful thing?
I can't help but notice, you're staring at me.
I know I shouldn't say this, but I really believe,
I can tell by your eyes that you're in love with me."

Now, son, I'm only telling you this
Because life can do Terrible Things."

I gasp, giving my hideout away.

"Oh. Hi Jack!" She smiles.

"DADA!!" Lacey and Hunter scream.

"Lordy, you two, chill." I laugh.

Lucky looks at me and I give her a shy smile, "I want to talk about that song later, okay?"

Her face goes a little pale, but the color comes back quickly, "Okay."

"Okay. Jake hit his head on the curb and is down the hall. I'm gonna take this kids to see him, and a nurse will come to get you. He won't stop screaming your name, and Mark just finally sat on top of him."

Lucky's frozen. She doesn't say anything. Doesn't do anything. She just nods.

"I love you, baby girl."

"I...i love you too, Jackaboy." She smiles. A big smile. A beautiful smile.

"There She Is." I whisper to myself.
