Mikes POV
I was sitting on the couch with my family when my phone dinged I looked at it I saw it was y/n she texted me
Y/n-open door now please I can't do it!
I immediately opened it and yelled "Y/N" but she blacked out I carried her inside out her door on the door I said "Clara get the first aid kit, Taylor get a wet rag and warm water, Chris get medication, Lauren I know you don't know what's happening but hold this to her side" we all cleaned her up I saw Taylor crying I knew this would happen Taylor worries everytime she goes home and she only lasts a day at that house before she ends up her beaten Lauren said "guys what happened? This seems normal to you" I said "it is for us but it's not my place to tell laur it's her" I heard a groan it was y/n she looked up and said "tell her mike she needs to know please I can't breathe" i said "hold on" I said "Taylor turn her in her side" she did that the minute she did y/n started coughing up blood I've seen this to many times but she won't let us call the police because she has no one else after we got her cleaned up and checked her pulse we put her in bed we went back down stairs I thought 'guess time to tell the truth'
Lauren's POV
I was a little scared when I saw y/n liked that but then my family made it seem like it was normal I guess it was after we finished with her and put her in bed I said "explain what happened please" Taylor said "Lauren when you first see y/n what's your opinion?" I said "um basketball star that looks carefree and is happy with a bunch of friends extremely good looking" Chris said "yes y/n is a basketball star but she's the is the furtherest thing from happy she may be popular at school but it's not that way outside of school" I said "what you mean?" My mom said "Lauren when y/n was young her dad used to beat her and her mom at 6 she witness something no kid should ever see she saw her dad murder her mother in front of her eyes from then on everytime she goes home she gets beat at 13 he decided to take her virginity he raped her when she goes home he will beat her and then he will tie her down just to have his ways" Taylor said "when I met y/n 3 years ago yes she was the basketball star but she was cold to everyone it took me 6 months until she broke down her walls I remember the day she did I was looking for her after school I found her on the court with tears going down her face she shot the ball and pissed she got pissed and started punching the cement wall I went over there I yelled at her to stop I grabbed her the minute I did she broke down I waited 30 mins to stop crying for her to tell me everything when that happened I was glad I broke down her walls I realized she needed someone since then she's here most of the time anytime you come home she's goes home it's not that she didn't wanna meet you it's because she wanted us to be together as a sibling that's why I was crying earlier I was worried" I was shocked she looks so happy on the outside but she's battling a demons inside her my dad said "when do the girls come next??" I said "they'll be at the next basketball game why?" Taylor said "that night she'll go home again and if she shows up again like that please don't say anything don't tell them why that's y/n's choice" I nodded and said "I will" I went up there and checked on y/n I kissed her forehead and said "you seem so happy and carefree but you're battling demons I'll make sure you win y/n"
