I love this man so much and he just doesn't see it. I pick up his strong heavy arm from around my body and tiptoed to the bathroom. I closed the door making sure to twist the door knob so he wouldn't hear the door close. I walked to the sink in the bathroom looking at the weak woman in the mirror. The woman looking back at me was not the woman I was a five years ago. The woman looking at me had bruises on her, she had gained over 200 lbs in the last year, her hair was falling out due to stress. The woman in this mirror was broken.

I washed my face with a special soap for my skin condition and patted my face with a towel. I carefully opened the door to find the man that I was in deep love with was gone. I look out of the window and see the car pull out of the drive way. I turn my head looking at the clock to see the time. The time read 3:27am.

I crawled back in bed. My body was numb and I felt a sense of pain come over me. My mind was running with thoughts as it usually does when he leaves. I wish I could turn it off sometime and get sleep.
