I watch as time seems so long but the days are getting longer.
Your hair is now dark and shorter.
I catch myself looking at you.
Your smile glows up the room.
I think to myself, "this is it."
We lean in and our lips crash.
His lips taste of raindrops.
I can feel my heart stop.
We break from the kiss and smile.
Until I shook my head and realizing you are a mile away.
