When we turned four
our parents used to say
love happens baby
just look at us
we thought they were lovely
but look at them now
we're older and more mature
while our parents lose their passion for love
didn't those fairy tale stories say that love was forever?
so why is it fading now?
at night they were screaming for passion
but now its about getting abortions
soon more discussions about divorce
the love they once had
the passion they once shared
now gone away
like dust
from the start
was there love?
all there was
was thrust and lust
is that all there is for love?
love hurts
that's why we cry
because all there is
is sadness
after that few minutes of passion
so much for being role models
