A month...A month has passed since the accident and honestly Emma is surprised that time flew that quickly. It's been a month and somehow, she has become one of Paulina's closest friends and still manages to hang with Sam, Tucker, and Danny when she gets the chance. Her popularity has skyrocketed but it's always being threatened when she's seen with her 'loser' friends. Ever since she became Paulina's best friend she's been learning all her darkest secrets along with Star's, it's only a matter of time before she could finally use it for her revenge.
RIINNNGGG!
Emma blinked and quickly got out of her seat, bolting out of the classroom. She adjusted her backpack and smiled when she spotted her favorite trio walking ahead. She pushed past the crowd of high schoolers and walked between Danny and Sam.
"Hey guys." She greeted happily.
"Hey Emma." They greeted back.
As they climbed up the stairs Danny began to talk, "I think I should tell them."
"Why? Parents don't listen." Sam said as they reached the end and stood in place. "Even worse they don't understand! WHY CAN'T THEY JUST EXPECT ME FOR WHO I AM?!!"
"Woah woah, calm it gothica. No need to go announcing your troubles to the world." Emma said and snickered when Sam pushed her shoulder.
"Sam, I'm talking about my powers. My problems." Danny reminded.
"Oh, right. Me too." Sam smiled embarrassingly.
"It's been a month since the accident and I still barely have any control. If anyone catches me, I'd go from geek to freak around here!" Danny was proving his point as he started phasing through the ground slowly.
"Kinda like what you're doing right now?" Tucker pointed out to the oblivious Danny.
Danny looked down and let out of shout of realization and panic. Tucker and Sam grabbed him by the arms, while Emma grabbed his chest from behind. The three lifted him up and once his lower half was tangible again they set him down.
"Ugh, darn it!" Danny clicked his tongue in annoyance.
"Honestly, your parents are ghost hunters, how have they not figured out yet?" Emma shook her head, "You're really obvious about your ghost powers."
"You know, I remember when you were a lot nicer." Danny gave her a look.
Emma shrugged, "I grew a back bone while I was away, deal with it."
Danny sighed in frustration and continued to climb the second set of stairs, "If my dad can invent something that accidently made me half ghost, why can't he invent something that brings me back to normal?"
He then turned intangible as he continued walking and went right through the vending machine, turning tangible once he got out of it. Sam ran a little and stopped in front of him, making him halt in place.
"Danny your powers make you unique. Unique is good!" Sam encouraged, "That's why I'm an ultra recyclo vegetarian."
"What the heck is that supposed to mean?" Emma raised an eyebrow in question.
"It means she doesn't eat anything with a face on it." Danny explained.
"Oh, who cares about that stuff." Tucker said unimpressed, "Danny, Emma, two words, meat connoisseur." He then leaned over and sniffed Danny, "Last night you had sloppy joes." He then leaned over and sniffed Emma, "And you had roasted chicken last night."
"Impressive." Danny and Emma praised.
"Meat heightens the senses." Tucker grinned smugly, "And my all meat, fourteen-year streak has been going on strong."
