~(Y/N)'s POV~
I'm back on this deserted island, again. But why? I left, why am I back?
I look around and notice that this place is more...eerie. I don't think it's nighttime either, there aren't any stars dancing across the midnight to show off their bright, beautiful light to the Earth. Are the clouds black? Dark purple? I can't help but feel like it's intimidating me as silent birds reel within its toxic skies.
I look at what's in front of me to try and get rid of this feeling of grim, but see an endless road of nature inside a reaping forest. These tall, thick logs with hair that every so slightly shake on dull colors, emitting this vibe of indescribable menace. These dark oaks are being covered with hollow, grey clouds that stretch far, blinding me from discerning anything beyond its faint body. The birds are silenced by the sheer aura of mass foreboding—the feeling that something, or someone, could take you away in a blink of an eye. Is this the Dark Island's true state?
"How dare you leave this place."
I whip my head around, only to be stared back by these dreadful trees that seem to continually grow in excessive uneasiness.
"Your friend will never accept you if he finds out who you truly are."
W-What? No... T-That's a lie...
"Soon you will have no other choice, but to come b a c k ."
A vantablack mist of pure darkness starts forming in the distance that slowly creeps towards me. It's so difficult to discern that everything and anything within its path gets consumed inside its wicked, thirsty grasp and its once body of birth made my Mother Nature is now adopted by Death. It now lives in the blackest void of complete obliteration that not even a blazing fire can light up.
This causes my breath to quiver in utter, horrifying fear. The thought of seeing nothing but demise frightens me to no end. I try to run away, but fail to do so. M-My legs won't move... I'm frozen on the spot!! No... N-No, I-I can't... I need to move! W-Why can't I move!?
I can feel my heart trying to burst out of my chest, the adrenaline coursing through my veins. Sweat and tears start to form. I-I don't know what to do... I d-don't want this...
It's getting closer...
Just when I was preparing for the shadows to consume me, I feel a jolt of energy burst from within. I-I'm free! I'm can finally move!! I wasted no time in running to the opposite direction. That didn't stop me from noticing the mysterious mist suddenly darting forward in a faster pace. I hear multiple voices, echoing as it gets closer; whispers, crying, yelling, psychotic laughter... I just keep running. I don't dare look back.
I dodge and avoid every tree in my way to the best of my ability. I can see the edge of the island—the ocean! Or at least, what I assume is the ocean. It's so dark... I can hear the waves splashing, but I don't trust these invisible waters. It looks like a void that's trying to trick me into it's caverns, and I have a feeling that swimming inside it will cause more terror.
