A/N: So i didn't know what image to put up so instead i put the song i was listening too when i wrote this chapter. It doesn't have much relevance to this part, but ah well!!

As I stirred the first thing I heard was a faint beeping. The world blurred white when I opened my eyes, and I felt a strange numb feeling throughout my body. A few figures rushed into my vision and I blinked a few times to gain focus. It was Lily and Alice.

"Heya." I croaked in a dry voice, the concept of speaking still odd to me.

Lily heaved a sigh of relief, grabbing my hand she smiled, "Thank God you're awake."

Smiling a little, finding the world strange for some reason I felt like saying something, the memories of the fall being the only thing I could think of, "I fell."

Alice sat down on the end of the bed smiling back at me, "We know. And bumped your head, so the doctors gave you drugs."

Lily directed a motherly look at Alice which made me giggle.

"Good ones too." She continued, still being Alice.

Just then a man walked in wearing a white coat. He had black greying hair, and a kind face. Noticing I was awake he gave me a smile, "Hello Aria."

"Hello." I replied, mimicking his deep voice.

In his hand, he was holding a file which he flicked through looking at Lily, "We've checked her blood pressure, heart rate, responses and such, all of which are good and on target. Her CT scan was clear of any brain damage, fractures which is the really important thing. As for her head injury we've given her a few stitches and with proper care it should heal right up. She's very lucky, especially considering the amount of time she was out there. Very lucky indeed."

Lily thanked the doctor walking out of the room with him talking in that practical, but kind voice she used when she was dealing with Cody.

My mind flickered back to his words 'very lucky indeed' and I thought for the first time that this could have been much worse. "Alice." I asked trying to fill in the blurry details from my fall to this room, "How d'you find me?"

She frowned, "You don't remember?"

I bit my lip, "I mean, kind of, it's all fuzzy."

Sitting further onto the bed and moving my legs to the side, she pushed her blue hair out of her face, "It was Travis. He came back from the woods, riding bareback on Randy with you tied to him."

I was silent, my vague memories not living up to Alice's description. Had Travis really done all that? He'd saved my life.

"You know what the funny thing is. He was shirtless when he rode up to the house, had torn up his t-shirt so he could tie you to him, it was like something out of a movie." She chuckled slightly, "He was so worried but mom and dad wouldn't let him ride in the ambulance without a shirt so he had to come later with me and the others."

Well this really was beating my memories. I smiled as I thought of Travis, all that he'd done, and how awfully I'd treated him.

Alice kept on telling her story, "You should have seen Casey's face. He just rushed past her, whilst she shouted at him, and said 'We're done.' it was brutal but very entertaining. I couldn't tell whether she was going to spontaneously combust or tear out Travis' vital organs."

"Casey was there?" I asked a little horrified of what the repercussions of the whole shirtless lifesaving thing might be.

She nodded, getting louder as she got more irritated, "She was talking my ear off about how neglectful Travis has been lately. As if I want to hear about what a crap boyfriend my brother is. She was bitching about you too, saying it's all your fault and I..."
