Chapter 9

Amber's P.O.V

(Amber) "Do you really want to know that bad?" He sat down next to me with his legs crossed and nodded his head.
"Okay fine I'll tell you" I sat up just like him. I was about to open my mouth when Leslie ran in the room.

(Leslie) "Sawyer said yes so we're all going to the beach today!!!!" She was so excited when her eyes widened
"Are you gonna tell him what happened in Chicago?" When I nodded my head she walked towards the bed and sat down next to me.
"For emotional support"

(Amber) "Okay well this was about five years ago so I was only 10 and there was this girl Janney who I'd always pick on and one time while I was in the girls locker room I poured a whole bottle of hair remover in her shampoo bottle and when gym was over we got to shower and she lost almost all her hair and I was expelled from school cuz I'd always pick on her and the school got tired of it" a tear rolled down my cheek and Leslie just squeezed my hand.

(Adym) "Wow where's Janney now have you seen her or talked to her?"(Amber) "Yeah everyday since I turned 18 and you know her too you dated her" Adym looked at me with confusion when I think it finally clicked.

(Adym) "Veronica!?!?!? What the hell I thought her name has always been Veronica!"

(Amber) "Well no her name was Janney and I guess when she graduated she legally changed her name and she got hot"

(Leslie) "I had some fault to I was the one who gave Amber the idea of  the hair remover and we were both expelled"

(Amber) "That's not the worst part now that I found out and confronted her about it she confessed and said she's going to get me where it hurts I'm scared she's gonna hurt either you or my baby" I wrapped my arms around my baby bump and Adym cupped my cheek.

(Adym) "I won't let anything or anyone hurt you or our baby trust me and if she dares come near me I can take care of myself" he leans in and kisses my forehead.
"Now come on let's get ready for the beach" Leslie shot up off the bed and ran into Sawyers room and I got up to get ready.

20 minutes later

(Amber) "Hey baby how does this look?" I stepped out the bathroom wearing my black two piece.

(Adym) "You look amazing and look you can see your baby bump" I looked down and smiled when Adym wrapped his arms around me.

(Amber) "I know I can't believe it's only 3 months almost 4"

(Adym) "Ready?" I nodded my head as I slip on my shirt over my head.

(Leslie) "We're ready" Leslie and Sawyer walk into my room.

(Adym) "Okay lets go" I grabbed my beach bag and we started walking out to the elevator when Sawyer's phone rings.

(Sawyer) "Hello?? What!!!! Since when?? Ummm well we're about to go to the beach... Malibu.... Alright I'll see you later..." he hung up and gave Adym a wide smile.

(Adym) "Who was that?"

(Sawyer) "You'll see when we get to the beach it's a surprise"

1 hour later

After what felt like an eternal ride to the beach we finally got here and me and Leslie ran out the car and ran towards the sand.

(Adym) "Babe be careful don't exert yourself so much" he ran after me and when he caught up he pulled me by my wrist.

(Amber) "I know how to take care of myself I don't need you to baby me"

(Adym) "I know I just thought you can't run or do anything physical cuz of your pregnancy" I rolled my eyes at him when he said that.

(Amber) "Fine I guess I'll just sit down and not do anything" I unfolded my fold-able chair and sat down when I heard a girl screaming so when I look towards where we heard the girl here comes this beautiful girl with a black one piece swimsuit and her left arm tattooed running full speed at Adym and when she gets a comfortable distance she jumps on Adym and they give each other a hug.

(Adym) "Oh my god Langie what are you doing here? When did you get to here?" she finally gets off of Adym with a big smile on her face.

(Langie) "Just last night I thought I'd come surprise you"

(Sawyer) "I told you it was a surprise" Sawyer had a grin from cheek to cheek on his face and i just rolled my eyes.

(Adym) "So how you been?" I looked at Adym and I cleared my throat.
"Oh my bad Langie this is Amber my"

(Amber) "Fiance" I got up and held Adym's hand

(Adym) "Right and Amber this is Langie my best friend"

(Langie) "Nice to meet you" she smiled at me then quickly looked back at Adym.
"Come on Adym I'll race you the water" they started running and I sat down back on the chair.

(Leslie) "What's all that about?" she sat down next to me and grabbed my hand.

Amber) "I don't know why don't you go ask Adym or you boyfriend since he had to do with that" O gestured towards Adym and Langie.
"Imma try to get some sleep I'm still tired" I rolled to my right side and covered myself with my towel trying to act like I was asleep but I couldn't cuz my eyes filled up with tears and heard all the laughing and splashing from Langie.
