My Daily Bible Devotion

Even Though

It seems like my vacation is not enough. I want to stay for a little longer to enjoy being carefree. Yeah I've been in rest for a long time but it seems like that I'm not resting at all :( I am so tired into our family business. My father keeps on working me with him, I want to help him because he's my dad and afterall it's for all of us. But lately I felt like I've been abused because I'm still on the peak of being a teenager you know. Teens usually want to have some fun and explore the world, but unlike me, I am chained in the four corners of our home working with my dad's business. Whenever I checked my facebook I get envy with my other friends, they can go wherever they go. They can decide for their own (Not those rebel types you know). Sometimes I want to become a normal teenager where you can live your life healthily. 

But you know what I still have hope because I know that God is with me. I can't see Him but I know He's watching me. He know that my motives are pure as the snow, I just want to hang out with my other Christian friends but my dad won't let me. EVEN THOUGH this happens I know that these things are just trials to test my faith on Him. As burdens approaches me I know that I'm with God in the midst of my battle. He's not just with me but He's with all of us however, wherever and whenever we go because we are His precious children. 

Let's pray for all of us! 

I pray to you oh Lord God in Jesus name that you will guide all of us no matter what will happen. Cover us with your holy spirit oh Father so that we can defeat the approaching trials. Lord God strengthen us! Thank you for not giving up on us even though we're not yet enough. Change me everyday oh God! Change me for Your goodness! We'll always remember Your words and promises! Thank you for everything. We love you oh God! This we pray in the mighty name of Jesus, Amen!
