Alfred's pov
I was sitting in class trying to study and and lean back a bit and my eyes met with the Japanese student named Kiku, he seemed cool but I never talked to him as he always seemed so shy. I heard the bell go off telling us it was the end of the day. I gathered all my things and I walk over to were Kiku's desk was.
"Hey, Kiku right?" I asked, Kiku's face turned red and it was pretty funny to see.
"Hai... I'm Kiku.." he bowed and finished gathering his things "well I'll be off" he said before quickly walking away from me 'looks like I'm going to have to work to become his friend' I thought as I walked to my locker to get my things, I wait for my brother Matthew at the gate of the school like I always do, I got a text saying he'd come home late as he was hanging with a new friend. I knew something was up as he doesn't make friends easily but I said nothing to him and went home, when I got home I sat on the couch and began to do my homework, but I couldn't help think about Kiku
After about a few hours I heard the door open with a small "I'm home" I smiled knowing it was Matthew
"Welcome home Mattie!" He yelled to him returning to my work, he joined me on the couch "so who were you hanging out with?" I asked turning to him
"A friend..." he whispered, I shrugged my shoulders and returned to my homework, after a hour I went to bed yawning a bit and laid down but I couldn't help but feel like I'm getting watched
