"We should do this more often."I said softly as we both strolled down the sidewalk hand-in-hand. It was a bit chilly outside but it was a perfect day to go to the park. There were a few kids in the playground playing tag or something, there were also teens playing soccer, an elder couple sitting on the bench chatting, then there was Matthew and I, just nicely walking around enjoying the fresh air.
"Yeah, this feels nice." He agreed. He suddenly brought his hand up that was intertwined with mine and left a small kiss on the back of my hand.
Then we walked for a few minutes until we found ourselves at the same spot when we got here, but we didn't want to leave just yet so we decided to sit on the bench. Matthew pulled me by waist to get closer to him and when I did, he grabbed ahold of my left leg and placed it over his lap. His hand was over my thigh with my head leaning on his shoulder.
A family of two kids and one toddler arrived, the kids jumped out of the car and ran towards the playground. The little toddler was whining and yelling for the parent to unbuckle her from her car seat and when they did, the toddler started running after her siblings screaming in joy.
"My mother texted me like a few days ago." I told Matthew. He glanced down at me before brushing a few strands of my hair away from my face and tucking it behind my ear.
"What'd she say?" He asked.
"She was just wishing me a good luck on my first day of college and told me she missed my 'loud ass' Then she asked when are we going to visit them soon." He chuckled when I mentioned my mother calling me an ass. Yep, there's my mother for you.
"When do you want to visit them?" He asked, I lifted my head from his shoulder to look up at him. "My mother texted me too. She texted me like a day ago or yesterday, I'm not sure but she was wondering the same thing like when are we both going to visit her because she supposedly has some good news." He shrugged his shoulder.
"Good news?" He hummed in response. "What do you think it could be possibly about?" He shrugged his shoulders again.
"I was thinking that we can both visit my parents and your parents next weekend, that's if you don't have work cause I already requested next weekend off anyways. So what do you think?"
"Yeah, I could try and ask Jess later, I can text her." I nodded. "Do you want to visit them for a day or do you want to spend the night for one day?" I looked back at the screaming toddler who was chasing her siblings.
"Maybe spend the night for one day, if it's okay with you." He glanced at me and kissed my temple.
"Yeah, it's alright with me." I sent him a smile which he nicely returned. "I can't wait to have a family one day." I blurted out. I expected for Matthew to give me like a strange confused look but he just looked at who I was looking at and smiled.
"Oh yeah?" I hummed and nodded. "I can't wait to start my own family too." He commented.
"Just imagine have a baby who looks exactly like you." I awed with a pout on my lips.
"You want to have baby that looks just like me?" He smirked. "As in you want to start a family with me?" His smirk grew even bigger, I felt my cheeks heat up and I looked away from him. I was blushing like a fucking tomato and he knew, he knew he maked me feel nervous and embarrassed. "Tell me, baby. Do you want to start a family with me?" I can feel my cheeks get even redder and hotter. He waited for an answer and I knew he wasn't going to let this go.
