Allan was at home, watching the news. Nothing urgent was happening. At least, not where he was. The weather showed up, and they said that there will be heavy showers tonight and tomorrow.
It has been raining a lot recently, but it was slowly getting worse. Nick was telling him that there might be a flood, but all that Allan could do was hope didn't actually happen. He was prepared it it did happen, however.
After hearing about the rain, Allan turned off the TV and went on his phone, and he started to watch some YouTube. After a while, it stared to pour outside.
Allan took a quick glance out the window, and it did not look pretty. Well, as far as rain can look not pretty. Allan turned the TV on, wanting to check if there was any updates on what was happening. The news people said that it is raining hard enough for there to be a flash flood. Perfect.
Allan started to put on clothes that would keep him dry in the rain if he had to go outside on to the roof. Allan looked out of the window again. Water was starting to build up. The worse was yet to come.
