Nick Catino's POV

"Shush Kaden!" I heard a little voice whisper. I immediately recognized it as the voice of my son. "You'll wake daddy up!"

I opened my eyes and glanced over, seeing my two little boys struggling to climb up on my bed. Thomas was pushing Kaden up with all of his might and Kaden was clutched onto the blanket trying to pull himself up.

"Boys," I groaned. They gasped and looked up at me with sheepish grins.

"Oh, hi daddy!" Kaden squealed made grabby hands at me. I sighed and reached over to pull him up along with Thomas. The second they were both on my bed they started jumping around like crazy people and throwing pillows at each other. "Your bed so big, daddy! Why do you sleep alone, you could fit a million people in it!"

I narrowed my eyes at them. "The only people I let sleep in my bed other than me is you two."

"See!" Thomas whispered loudly, as if I wasn't listening. "I told you we need a mommy! So she can sleep in the bed too."

"Where is Rosa?"

They both stopped jumping around and gave a look of guilt. I can tell something is up. "Not sure, daddy." Thomas shrugged and jumped under the covers. He moved close to me and laid his head on my chest.

"Kaden," I said slowly. "Do you know where Rosa is?"

He copied his brothers actions and got under the covers but wrapped himself around my arm. "Nope."

"I hope you're not lying.." I trailed off. "Christmas is coming soon and if Santa sees you're lying to daddy he's not gonna bring you guys any presents and..."

"Rosa left!" Kaden screeched and cut me off.

"What do you mean she left!?"

"Rosa got real real mad at us daddy. She said she doesn't want to watch us no more! So she left and we came in here to be with you," Thomas explained with a little frown on his face.

I unwrapped the boys from around me and lunged out of my bed. I sprinted down my long staircase and into the kitchen where my butler was cleaning my table.

"WHERE IS ROSA!"

Harold jumped in surprise. Poor guy looked terrified. He cleared his throat and readjusted himself. "Good morning Mr. Catino. Would you like anything for-"

"I said, where. is. Rosa." I clenched my jaw and took a step toward him.

He visibly gulped. "Mrs. Rosa left, sir. She left you this letter."

I snatched it out of his hand and began to read it.

Dear Mr. Catino,
I apologize for leaving on such short notice, but I refuse to watch your boys anymore. Not only are they disrespectful and loud- they absolutely hate me! No matter how much you pay me I just can't take it anymore. This morning they were upset I wasn't letting them in your room to wake you up and they not only tripped me multiple times, they let their snake loose when they know how terrified I am of that thing! I wish you the best and hope you find someone that knows how to take care of those little animals.
Sincerely, Rosa

I crumpled up the paper and chucked it at the wall. My head shot up to look at Harold, who stared at me in shock.

"Start looking online for other babysitters. And make sure you rip up Rosa's last check, that bitch doesn't deserve it," I spat and began walking up the steps. I basically kicked my bedroom door open.
