Introduction:
Choices of words are deep.
My first impression: healing something, biblical, repentance and acceptance. I was like 'Whoahh I have to gear up and ready my Google buddy.'
Then when I finished the chapter one-seven, sadly, anyare? 😣 Disaster ang outline?
Why?
1. Profane words – OMG. We include foul words because that is what the situation is needed. Pero kapag sagana, tipong buong chapter parang iyon na ang tema, it is unhealthy.
Come to think of it. As a writer, we are like teachers, role model, and older sister/brother to the person who we preferred to read our piece. So, even if we put restrictions and advisory, young ones will still read it because it is free to read. (As what thr wattpad purpose) Kaya kung mababasa nila ito, what do you think will be the result? 😐
2. Plot
Austine have this ability of seeing everyone's hidden struggle in life. Hindi malinaw ang structure ng plot. The outline is not prepared, kung baga kung ano nalang ang maisip iyon ang idiniga. The whole chapter 1-7, maraming filler scenes na hindi related sa concept. May mga pahapyaw pero hindi malinaw ang gustong iparating.
3. Conflict
a. She cannot see the soul of Austin and John. Why?
b. Bakit siya may ability na makakita ng pagdurusa ng mga tao? May magagawa ba siyang paraan para matulungan ang mga ito?
c. Saan nagsimula 'yung ability niya na iyon? Buhat pagkapanganak? Generation?
d. Internal conflict, hindi ba siya natakot sa sarili niya? How was the experience on her first soul vision?
e. Siya lang ba ang may ganoong abilidad?
4. POV and Voice
Austine POV – I was a bit confused with her voice o attitude bang masasabi iyon? Sometimes she's girlish, sometimes excuse me for the word galawang mentally retarded. She said she's third Year College, 20 years of age, taking up communication course? Hindi ko matandaan dahil ang daming nangyari. But the way she thinks, speak, body language – pag-aakalaang six years old siyang inagawan ng lobo sa kanto.
