I sit at the back of the class. My dark curly hair covers my dark green eyes. My other hand is tapping on my desk and other one is holding a book, this book is a special. You may wonder why is it special and why I am telling you all of this. Well let me first tell you why this book is special. To start of I should probably explain what it holds inside. Every page of it is at the same time exactly same, but every one of them is still completely different. Now you wonder how that is possible. Well all of the pages are blank right now, but one day they be filled with something that makes them unique. They are like the stories of people. At the beginning of their stories all the pages are blank until slowly day by day they are getting filled with memories like first day of school, first love and first heartbreak. All of those things are what make every story unique. I am Asia McCarthy and this my life in chapters. You should prepare for dark and psychological tale full of darkness.
As I earlier mentioned, I am sitting at the back of class. It's like I am invisible to others. Even the teacher doesn't notice me. So I am always alone. It might seem weird to you, but to me it's the just ordinary thing. Right now I am being as quiet as I can be while I am looking around. My eyes meet with Freya Campbell. She isn't the popular cheerleader, but she has lot of friends, so she isn't a loner like me. Freya Campbell is just this light haired girl who has dark grey eyes with a shine in them. She is always grinning and laughing with her friends. We have only changed couple of words, but she seems nice. Just like the character in books who is the main characters best friend, which is also in love with her. You know the guy who in the end gets the girl, because the main character realises that the most popular guy is a jerk. That is who Freya is except she is a girl. She is the person who everyone wants to be friends with, when they get to know her. We are almost polar opposites, but somehow I feel time to time that she notices me. I try glance at her quickly so she doesn't notice it, but the bell rings and everyone rushes out. I take my stuff and hurry out of the classroom. Just when I reach the door I hear someone calling my name: "Asia, could you wait up a second?" I turn around to face Freya. Who could have guessed this. "What to you want Freya?'' I ask her maybe little to mean. Although I came off as rude she seems to just brush it of. "Sorry it's actually nothing, but hey we were thinking of grabbing ice cream after school would you like to join us?" For a second I am actually tempted to agree. Maybe I should actually go. Just for a second I thought about going until dark thoughts pulled me back to reality. "I actually have plans", I quietly mutter under my breath before dashing out of the classroom.
I just run straight out of the whole school building. I finally stop to catch my breath at the park close to school. It's empty. I feel how I am shaking and tears are about to be building up in my eyes. Why now? I take big steps towards the slide until I reach it. I just hide under it. The tears just fall down my cheeks as I press my head against my knees. Why me? Slowly the shaking stops but the shadows in my mind just grow bigger. I feel like someone is strangling me. I try to breathe. Every breath feeling like it could be the last. The whispers in my mind going crazy. "You should die!", "You are waste of space and oxygen!" "Worthless piece of garbage!" Words repeating over and over again. I open my eyes and take a tiny metal blade from my pocket. For a moment I only stare at it then I slowly place it on my wrist and cut. I cut and cut until dark red trails of blood drips down my wrist to the grass.
