In the beginning, there was darkness, the Void, absolute nothingness.
I am sure you have heard this story, many, many times. It doesn't matter where, it's just important you know this story.
I am here today, to tell you though, that all of it is false.
There was not just darkness. There was 4 other crucial parts to existence, later to be called by humans elements: Fire, Water, Earth, and Air.
Oh, who am I, you ask?
Well, many Eastern people call me Χάος, the Muslims Allah, though I am generally known as God, the original.
In the past few centuries, the activity of the minions of Darkness has been increasing. I fear the end may be close.
The specific 5 elements have been a part of humanity for as long as it has existed, in many forms: both pure and human. They live among us, and they will soon have to lead a strike against the Darkness.
However, due to a set of laws dating back to creation itself, divine intervention is prohibited. That is why the Elements must find Champions, to train, to help grow, to face off against Darkness and his army at the end as we know it.
It is time.
