when i walk the corridors of the school, people come up to me, or give me a smile, or yell my name and bash my shoulder. i'd say i'm pretty popular but i'm not the one who always gets the girls.

at the moment i'm quite happy with my bird, tara. actually, i think i'm falling for her hard. she's pretty, and bubbly, straight forward with me and smart. she ticks all the boxes for me, and i couldn't complain about anything.

this morning at break, tara and i made our way outside and stood by the bushes talking.

"you should come to the twilight today, i'm playing."

i traces my finger along tara's shoulder, making her giggle.

"i'd like to, but i need to take care of my little sis. sorry, xander."

tara looked up at me with hopeless eyes but displayed an innocent smile.

she makes my heart melt. i'm happy everyday i see her. honestly, i'm so glad to have her as my girlfriend.

i softly grabbed hold of both her shoulders and pulled her in for a hug. i embraced her for a couple of seconds or so, taking in her sweet scent of aloe vera.

"you make me so happy, tara."

i said my words very slowly, meaning them fine well.

tara chuckled, cuddling into my chest. she gazed up at me and leaned in for a peck on my cheek.

"you make me happy too, xander."
