I stare at your flower of a heart.
It fades away as your shell of ice thickens,
As you fall apart.It's once delicate petals put on a translucent armor.
You think you are protected by the cold shield
But, I can see that you are hiding something darker.I can hear it beating loudly under the ice.
I beat back at it trying to break through;
I fall into the ice water and it feels nice.My breath runs out as I swim to your heart, that is turning blue.
Water seeps into my lungs;
I continue swimming till darkness covers both me and you.
