It was the night before freshman year.
Fun, right?
God I was excited, but it was the first night without my older sister.
I tucked myself into bed, my wet long hair curled as I closed my eyes.
I closed my eyes, the normal, telling myself to go to sleep.
I couldn't, I knew what my dad was doing was wrong.
What could I say? What could I do to tell my mom the live of her life she was sharing with some tramp? That's when I heard the door slam. It was like a thousand bee stings as I heard my mom's silent sob, reading what my dad had told that other girl. Her sadness quickly turned into anger and she woke my father up, that's when the fighting began. That's when I knew my life was over, all the smiles and laughter, were going to be gone.
