Wally’s Four Steps To Warmness
The wind was howling outside of Mount Justice. Inside, the young heroes of the Young Justice League huddled inside. The heater had somehow been broken leaving a certain Robin feeling extremely cold. “Ugh,” the Boy Wonder moaned while shivering violently. “It’s too cold.”
A red-head by the name of Kid Flash however was unfazed by the temperature, zipping around to keep himself warm. “Dude,” he started “You should’ve brought something warm with you! It’s gonna get even cooler y’know.” Kid Flash, also known as Wally, shook his head sympathetically. “I know! I know! At least you’ve got a way of keeping warm.” Robin muttered, snuggling himself even more into the couch.
“Hmm,” the speedster hummed as he tried to think of a way to get his best friend to warm up. Tapping his foot, he suddenly came up with an idea. “Got it! A simple four step process.”
“Okay... I guess we can give it a try...” Robin said uncertainly. He hoped that Wally’s plan wasn’t another “Trust me! It’ll work for sure!” plan when they actually failed miserably kind of plans. “Great!” the speedster exclaimed happily. This would work for sure. “Oh, and the only rules are that 1) you trust me and 2) you don’t object. Alright?”
“Fine.” the black-haired teen sighed.
“Cool! Okay, step one,” the ginger started, pulling off his hoodie and passing it to Robin. “Put this on. It’s probably a bit too big but... eh whatever.” Robin sat up and pulled the hoodie. Kid was right when he said it would be too big for him but hey, he wasn’t complaining.
“Step two,” Kid Flash run off to the kitchen making two cups of hot-chocolate in record time. Careful not to spill either of them he slowly (yes slowly) made his way back the couch and passed one to the smaller teen. “Careful! It’s hot.” the ginger hero warned as the younger made to drink some.
“Alright. That’s two steps out of four. What’s the next one?” the raven haired boy asked. “What? Step three? That’s simple!” Kid Flash laughed. He sat beside the Boy Wonder and put an arm around him. “We snuggle!” Robin blushed at the closeness of the other teen. “A-And step four?” he stuttered, mentally cursing himself for the way his voice sounded.
Suddenly very serious, the speedster looked Robin in the eyes (sunglasses really). “Step four is the most important.” he said somehow getting even closer to the small teen. “Go for it,” the raven stated. “Gladly.” the ginger lunged, clashing his lips onto his best friend’s lips. The Boy Wonder, eyes wide kissed back. The dynamic duo eventually pulled back.
“Did... did it work?” the older aked.
“Yeah. I think it did.” the younger smiled, and for the first time that day he wasn’t cold at all.
