My breathe is gone. I am panting. I won't be able to breathe soon. Is all I think as my world goes black and I fall into a deep sleep.

I wake up the next morning to be lying in a white room with warm heaters around me and my long tangeled blond hair swayed to the side. I try to sit up but struggle and fall down as I cry out in pain. I see a lady wearing white running in. I think she is an angel at first coming to take me to heaven. I close my eyes waiting for a nice feeling of flying up and away, but I only get the a shake on my arm. "Darling can you hear me?" she calls out to me. Her voice sounds far away. This must be some test to tell if I should go to heaven or hell. I think I must impress her. "I am fine and how are you?" I reply trying to sound as friendly as possible. The lady looks at me weirdly before asking

"Are you feeling alright? Do you need any more pain relief?"She asks completly ignoring my question. I state at her and then realise where I am. I look to my left and see a young boy lying there with a million machines connected to him. The lady who must be a nurse sees me looking "that poor kid hasn't had a very great day, he was trying to teach him self to swim. You are very lucky that isn't you. What were you thinking you could have died if the young man going for a walk along the pond hasn't seen you drowning." I have no idea what she is talking about I only vaguely remember what happened. "Now darling can you tell me where you live and how we can contact your parents they must be worried sick now wondereing where you are" I stare out at the world for a while raking my mind for any sorce of my family or my house but I cant think of any think except an old house on Marlington street.

"I think I live at an old house on Marlington street. Number.....' I think for a while then the number 82 comes into my mind "82..... yeah that sounds right I think I live at 82 Marlington street. Do you know it" I ask. She stares at me before stumbering

"Do I know it. Everyone knows it nobody has lived there for over 1000 years. You must be very confused." she then leaves leaving me alone. Why did she make such a fuss. I am sure I live their I remember every little detail. My room is perect pink with cute teddies surounding my walls. I have a four poster bed with a bright red flowery sheets. I have my own bathroom wih the shinest walls and clean floors. I will have to tell the nurse this when she comes back. I wait for ages but no one comes in for a while. Finally about five hours later a older man comes in.

"Hello. How are you? I hear you think you live at 82 Marlington street but that isn't possible is it?" He stares at me waiting for a reply. I dont really know what to say beacuse I do live their I know I do I cant possibly live anywhere else. I just nod dumbford not wanting to argue. " Glad we put that straight now I am here to help you so we find out where you actually live and get to the bottom of this ok" I nod again hoping I might find my mum and dad though I do feel bad for forgetting them. "Ok well now we are going to run through a couple of things. " He blabbes on about nothing for a while I just nod when he looks at me. My eyes start to wander around starting at anything except him. The boy next to me is starting at me when I looked at him. He waves before miming 'ignorn him' I nod slowly and finally look at the guy he is just saying stuff about not worrying about it. When he finally leaves I start to feel quite tired and fall straight to sleep.

The next morning I wake up and find myself in a different room. This room doesn't look as good as the other one but it has more of a home feeling. I state out and see a small window about 1 meter from the ground I slowly get up and find most of my pain in my head is gone. I slowly walk over to it and lean on the window sill. The grass is frosty and the birds chirping happily. I hear a sudden thump and jump up and stare towards the door "Hello I see you are feeling better. Would you like some breakfast?" A young lady says. She is dressed in a yellow flowery dress with dark brown hair in a long plait down her back. Her bright blue eyes sparkling.

"Are you my mother" I ask unsuerly as I do not recognize her.

"No I am not your mum. I am just your substude mother until we find your real one." I stare at the lady. Her voice is so calming that I she calms me down just by talking. " oh yeah before I forget my name is Madeline but you can just call me Maddy." Whats your name" I rank my brain trying not to sound stupid but can not find any answer. "You don't know that's okay you can choose them so what's your name" I want a really pretty name so I think for a while going through all the names I can remember.

"Um Caitlin is that ok?" I say

"That's a lovely name Caitlin" she replies
