"He's dead isn't he."
"Yes I saw it happen."
"And you didn't help, he could still be alive."
"He didn't want my help and we both know he would die either way he wanted to much."
Panting comes from behind and they quickly turn around and draw their weapons, but only for it to a well know friend.
"Are we all that's left?" She said covered in blood.
"No, I saw more escaping, we'll regroup back at eight."
"Is he dead?" she asked still out breath.
"Yes." The other man responded
"Shit, well we all knew it was going to happen."
Branches break and leaves crunch around the small group. They circle them ready to kill at a moments notice.
"Looks like they're not all dead either. Weapons at the ready Mirror you take left, Trick you take right, I got the rest."
"We might die here West." Mirror said wielding KhanJali in each hand.
"I know but their are worse ways to go." West readied her Kusarigama.
Trick grunted drew his great sword as the the creatures moved towards them. And together they plunged into the mass of enemys, blood spraying in their faces.
Guts and blood filled the ground but the reapers are to quick and agile for the enemy to catch them.
"It's done the battle is over we won."
"I wouldn't say that." said a voice. "It's only just begun." He laughed as he threw both comrades heads to the ground.
West is shocked at what she sees, rage fills her and she charges the man.
"Oh poor you not such a smart move." He said without hint of emotion. As West got close he pulled a knife and pierced her left lung. West clasped to the ground not able to breathe. The man squatted down to her and she got a clean picture of his face.
"You, how could you do this."
"Because it's time for a new leader." He hovers the knife over her and stabs her heart wtching the life drain out of her."
