I was leaving the campus after my class on Wednesday. I need to go to the rink, and train for a couple hours. Then I get to go home. "Hey, Skater Girl," someone called my name. I turned around to see a guy running towards me. I glared at him. If he wad going to make fun of me, he will be sorry. "You actually stopped," he laughed at that fact. "I'm Donovan Grell," he intorduced himself, "Want to go get some lunch?" Oh, no he was asking me on a date.
"I'm pansexual," I told him. Technicall I am panromantic, but it is easier to say pansexual. Either way it usually makes guys back off. They told want a girl friend who they can rate other girls with.
"Cool, I'm asexual," he told me. I ceinged in regret. "Just me and Frenchy liked what you said the first day in Music Discussion, and we want you to join us for lunch." He offered with a kind smile. He had an english accent to his voice.
"Sorry, I have somewhere I have to go," I told him, "Oh, but next time, my name's Akira Katsuki." With that I ran off, wanting to get to practice. We didn't practice at the same rink as the Russians, but it was still a nicw place, and the workers were nice. Practice seemed to fly by, and I was soon taking off my skates as Naomi was looking over what we had to practice tomorrow.
"You know what, were fine," she decorated, throwinf down her clipboard, "But you need friends." She sat down in the bench across from me. "We are only going to have practice every orher day, and you need to have one friend by the time we go to Japan for the competition."
"But, we still don't know what song we are going to do for free skate, and I still need costumes," I told her, being a bit freaked out. I kust didn't want to socialize. "Besides there's Yuri."
"Leave all that to me," she told me. lightly slapping my cheek, "And yes he is a good kid, but you need a friend your own age."
"I have your son," I reminded her, pkaying of the joke that I am as mature as a five year old. She just groaned at me.
I kept what she told me the next day at school. I noticed I had all the same classes as that guy. What was his name again, Donovan! I guess I could try being friends with him. I walked up to him after ballet. "Hey, want to go grab some coffee, or something?" I asked him, "Sjnce I sorta just ditched you yesterday."
"Yes!" a girl camw up from behind her. Her english had a French accent. I could only assume this was who he referec to as Frenchy the day before. "Im Mersadies Melan." She reached over rhe guy to shake my hand, just grabbing it. "I have olive tone skin..." She started describing herself.
"What are you doing?" I asked her, gettinf extremely confused.
"Well, don't you want to know what I look like?" she asked me. I was confused for a second. Then I remembered about the cane in my hand.
"Oh, I'm not blind," I told her. The two looked embarrassed, "At least not yet. I'm losing my eye sight." I shrugged, getting embarrassed on how much I need to say that.
"Woh," Donovan commented, "That's gotta suck." We all sorta laughed away the awkwardness. I just followed the other two as they had w conversation, I put in my opinion when I felt like it. We had settled down in a cafe. I got a green tea, once agaon, because of my Japanese origins.
"Hey, over here!" Mersy called, out standing up and wavomying her arms. I noticed another guy walking over. He sat down in the empty chair at our table. "This is Akira Katsuki, she's the one we told you about."
"Katsuki," he seemed to have reconized my last name, "Like that Japanese figure skater that bomb at the Grand Prix last year?"
"Hey he got to the finals," I defended my brother, "But yes, he's my brother." I took a sip of my tea with a sour look on my face.
"Oh, that guy Victor Nikiforov is coaching!" Donovan perked up. I nodded my head. "Have you met him." I nodded once again.
"Your brother's hot," Mersy told me. Did I just find a group of skating nerds.
"Please he has nothing on Victor," the new guy said. He had a Russian acfent to his English.
"Don't ruin my ship," I argued, "Or tall about my older brother in a lewd way. That's my job." I made the others laugh, as I continued to sip my tea.
"I'm Nathaniel Ivanov," the newer guy introduced himself. "Now, tell us about your ship." I couldn't help but bottles into a proper sitting position. I went on and on about Victuri, even breaking out the pictures I had on my phone.
Looking at all of us, you wouldn't expect us to be figure skatibg freaks, shipping people. Don had on a muscle top and basketball shorts over latex. His short lightbrown hair was still styled by his hair gel. His blue eyes popped out of his soft fearless and lightly tanned skin. He was slightly muscular, like all of us were.
Mersy had long wavy red hair. She had it back in a braid. She was wearing a cropped sweatshirt and yoga pants. Her skin was pale and loked extremely soft. Her eyes were the same green as emeralds. He emails were painted a red, to match the purse she had with her.
Nate was wearing a dress shirt and jeans. He was obviously the tallest, Din being the next, then Mersy, finally me. His blond hair was slicked back, as of he was an office worker and not a music student. His baby blue eyes went well with is frail, sun lacking skin.
"Okay so, Mersy is from France, I'm from England, and Nate is from Russia," Din said once we all agreed my ship was pure and goibg to sail, "So where are you from Aki?" We all face plammed to his ignorance.
