"Grandma, I'm going to be okay, its just few-hour drive to get there, I'll be fine, I promise" I said with a tint of sadness in it. "Are y-you sure?" She said stuttering because of crying.
"I am grandma, I love you" tears coming up to my eyes. "O-okay but promise me education is first than guys" she chuckled. "Grandma, I'm not into guys" I said joking.
"I'm going to be late grandma, I'm going to go now" a drop of tear fell from my eyes and that's when my grandmother started to cry harder. "Again, you promise me to come back next Saturday okay?" She asked.
"Yes I will, I'm going to go now, bye grandma" while waving a hand to her and got into the truck. "Goodbye, I love you" she sadly said to me but still waving a hand to me. The truck engine started to roar to life and dash it goes to my school. "I love you too grandma" I said in almost a whisper.

I got to my school but left my things in the truck. Where do I get my schedule and my keys to my dorm room? Should I ask? Yeah, I should.
"Uh miss, can I talk to you for a sec maybe?" I pat her back. She turned around and smiled to me. " Yes of course, what do you want?" She said in a cheery voice.
"Where can I get my schedule and keys to my dorm room?" I said in a confused voice. "Oh, about that, I'm actually finding it right now" she's new too I guess. "What about, we find it together" I asked her. "That's AWESOME!" She said while jumping up and down.
"Uhm, by the way I'm Brynn, Brynn Rumfallo, but you can call me bry for short" she said introducing and giving her hand to me. "Yeah, and the name's Mackenzie and you can call me kenzi-" I told her, but she cutted me off. "Awesome! Let's go! Were going to besties for life!" She squeezed my arm.
I didn't even shake her hand though.
Oh well,
I'll just call her Brynn.
