Chapter 1. Someone call Adele to set fire to all this rain.

><><><><><><><><><><>

It was raining.

I was soaking wet, and I was nowhere near my house. I could feel my clothes sticking to my skin, and as I moved down the street I could hear my new shoes squeaking. looking down,  I saw that the dye was running, and staining the sidewalk. So much for good quality.

I eventually stopped walking and sat down on the bench in front of me. If possible, the rain started falling harder and pounded me. I sighed, and leaned against the bench. Taking my phone out of the pocket of my jeans, I saw that it was completely ruined. Tilting it to the side, water spilled out of the case.

So I need a new phone and new shoes? Someone should call Adele to set fire to all this rain.

Though I have the worst singing voice ever, (and I'm not saying that because I am modest. I am a ridiculously bad singer.) I started singing as loud as I possibly could.

"And I set fire to the rain.

Watched it burn as I touched your face.

As it burned yeah, I cried, cuz I heard it screaming out your name.

Your name."

I continued singing until my voice was hoarse. The rain hadn't stopped, or even lightened in the slightest. It was still pouring down, not even giving me time to go home and took a nice hot bath.

Today was the worst day ever.

First, I went to my boyfriend's house and guess what I find? I find him kissing my younger sister. Dylan, my boyfriend for 6 whole months, was kissing L'Oreal, my younger sister who was born a year after me. Dylan tried to explain, but there was really no explanation for what I just saw. Daniella also tried to explain, but once she saw it was pointless she just gave up and looked away.

So I left them to continue backstabbing me and walked out of his house with my head held high after throwing his promise ring on the floor. He called me back, but I kept walking and walking and walking.

And then the sky decided to rain.

Dylan's house is 45 minutes from my house. I got my mother to drop me off, thinking that I would spend some time in his house talking, watching movies, and cuddling, and walked into a make-out session between two of the people I trusted the most.

He had a car, so I expected him to take me home, but I couldn't ask him after what I had just saw. I couldn't even face him without wanting to break his face.

Like, who cheats on you with your younger sister?

I couldn't call anybody either, because my phone wasn't working. I had just got it for my birthday nine months ago, and now my iPhone is broken. Maybe I could convince my dad to buy me a Samsung for my upcoming birthday.

Well, a Samsung that's waterproof.

The day started fairly good. I woke up, got the bathroom first, was actually having a good hair day, and caught a ride with my best friend. School was great too, I actually managed to get a B+ on my Spanish test, and I was planning to surprise Dylan with a romantic day together.

So much for romance.

I was truly in love with Dylan. I was sure of it, I even asked my older brother (who's studying psychology) and he confirmed it. I was completely in love with Dylan Shawn, and I thought he was in love with me too. We had told each other many times, almost a hundred times daily, so I had complete and utter trust in him.
