Waking up early was what I dreaded especially on a school day I yawned as I heard the happy birthday songs playing, it has been a tradition since I was 4 years old.
"Happy birthday" my mom cheered.
"Thanks mom " I replied
"Get up today's school" she said dragging my feet as I struggled to go to the bathroom.
MINUTES LATER
I got dressed into a pair of pants and tops with sneakers as I tied my hair in a ponytail carrying my back pack to school.
"Bye mom" I yelled
"darling do not skip breakfast " she said
"fine" I replied rolling my eyes I sat down eating a breakfast of toasted bread and Orange juice
"So you finding your mate huh" she asked
"Yeah I don't care " I replied
"You have to darling" she said
"Mother., I don't know why my dad or you you never told me stories about mates as you always blocked the topic off " I said getting up to leave the table.
AT SCHOOL
Opening my locker with my password "DAD "
I always wished to know him as I saw "HAPPY BIRTHDAY BESTIE" I turned to meet my best friend
"thanks sweetie" I said hugging her .
"So how does it feel to be 18 "she asked
"normal"I replied soon the bell rang
"talk to you later " she said rushing out through the hallways
AFTER CLASS
As I entered the cafeteria I walked in to perceive a nice pine wood scent I followed the scent moving to the direction soon I stopped as I heard
"MATE!!"
