Lilly-

After the class, during which we chatted telepathically, I walked over to Anne's desk considerably friendlier than the last time I looked over. I smiled warmly at her.

"Ready to go?" I asked.

"Ya." She said. linked my arm through her's and we headed to our next class. Turns out most of our classes were the same except for dance class. I pointedly ignored Zack at the end of class, knowing we were supposed to walk home together. He saw me walk away Anne and his expression hardened.

'What are you doing?' he hissed mentally.

'What does it look like? I'm taking a walk with my new friend.' I could hear him growl at the word Friend. I chuckled silently. Anne looked over at me in confusion. I nodded my head toward Zack. He practically had steam coming out of his ears. Anne and me walked out of class snickering.

'You will not go with her.' he said darkly.

'Who's going to stop me?' i said, and blocked him out.

Anne and me heading over to my place. We were partnered for an art project and wanted to get started as soon as possible. Also I thought we should get our plan started as soon as possible. So if Zack happens to notice her there, all the better.

"We're here." I announced.

"Wow!" she said gaping. "You got a huge house here! Why do you need a huge place for one person?" she said curiously.

"Oh. No!" I exclaimed. "I'm not the only one here. Zack and me live here, Damon stays here from time to time...oh, and Setheno and Charlie drop by a few times a year." I said as an after thought. They haven't come by for a while.

"Who's Damon, Setheno, and Charlie?" she asked.

"Damon's my brother...well, not by blood but, he acts like a brother..." I trailed off, unsure how to explain it.

"I know what you mean." she said, smiling.

"Yeah, Setheno and Charlie are like our parents. They're our family but much more powerful than us so they're like our parental figures. So..." I shrugged. She had a sad look in her eyes. Before I could ask about it, she had turned around to find her sketchbook.

"OK. Well, lets get started on that project." I said. Our project was to design a dress and have one of us model it for the class. We had already decided she would model and draw the dress, while I'll actually create the dress. It played on both of our strengths. Though she was still reluctant to model it. She thought I should model it. But it was obvious she would be best for that part, modeling required a bold, eye-drawing figure. Don't get me wrong, I wasn't that ugly myself, I had my own charm with my blond hair, blue eyes, and dainty figure, and it played to my advantage. But Anne had a sort-of hourglass figure, and vibrant personality that forced everyone to look at her. She had jet-black hair that was cut to a razor blade point, with a sharp line of bangs that contrasted with her purple eyes.

"So, what type of dress are we making?" I asked, seeing her ready with a sketchpad in hand.

"Umm...a...dressy-type...one?" she asked, looked lost. I fought back a laugh. I didn't really expect her to know anything about dresses anyways. She had changed her outfit from the one she wore in school, but it wasn't much of an improvement. She had on a pair of black jeans, with a black tank top and her signature leather jacket.

"Do you know about any type of dresses?" I asked. I saw her eyes widen in alarm.

"There are different TYPES of dresses?" she asked horrified. at this point I couldn't hold it off anymore. I burst out laughing. That didn't please her at all. She picked up a cushion and threw it at me. She actually had a really strong arm, and I was perched precariously on the chair anyways, so that's how I ended up on the floor.
