The adventures of Albus Severus Potter (A Harry Potter story)

Albus' POV

I just got on the Hogwarts express and got in the same compartment as my cousins, when a boy about my age with the whitest hair and a sneer on his face.

"Potters and Weaslys, father told me all about you, your mothers are filthy mudbloods and blood traitors!"

Me and James stood up straight and whipped out our wands and pointed them to the blonde hair freak who did the same with his mates. I knew a good couple of attacking spells. It was 2 against 3, not good.

"STUPEFY!" James shouted I followed his lead

"IMPEDIMENTA!" I shouted and the blonde haired git fell to the ground with the force of the spell, the other one split, crying down the carrage. James walked to the blonde git and whispered a spell making him conscience again then James said "Oblivite" his wand glowed and blonde git looked in a daze, then went normal again.

He looked around confused staring at everyone

"where am I" everyone started at him weirdly while James did the same with the other one, they walked down the carrage confused

"Who was that guy?" I asked

"Scorpious Malfoy, dad told me about him he's the son of Draco Malfoy. He was a death eater who helped Voldemort in the battle of Hogwarts, he said he was under the imperious curse and got free".

"Scorpius, a 1st year, is a death eater?" I said

"No Draco, his father, was a death eater" said Rose

"oh" was all I replied. Just then Teddy and Victoire rushed down to our compartment, hand in hand,

"We heard you and James were dueling Malfoy? Is it true?"

"Yeah, Albus has some talent, just like me and dad, he's diffiently gonna be in Gryffindor" I blushed as James praised me, which he very rarely did.

We'd been on the train for an hour now, James had gone to see his other friends but warned me if Malfoy came back to cast Expelliarmus on him. Teddy and Victoire left to their carrage and it was just me and Rose telling each other spells and pratising. A girl walked in, our year, she had pale blonde and a dreamy sort of look on her face.

"LUNA! Were have you been"

"Trying to find you's 2, Albus you have to change into your robes, we'll be arriving very soon" said Luna

"okay" I replied, she and Rose went outside so I could change into my robes.

We arrived at Hogwarts, I grabbed my trunk and my Owl, Howler. Me, Rose and Luna made our way to Hagrid who was shouting

"FIRST YEARS THIS WAY!"

"Alright Hagrid" I said

"Albus, Rosey, Luna. How are ya"

"Fantastic" I replied

"Good glad your not nervous"

Just then I remembered what would happen if I got put in Slytherin, and the nerves came back. We got on the boat togather with Seamus Finnigin's son Patrick. I looked up at the castle which Godric Gryffindor, Helena Hufflepuff, Rowena Ravenclaw and Salazar Slytherin built. It was huge!

We reached the castle, hardly talking but admiring the beautiful castle in the moonlight. When we all got of the boats and walked up staircase following Hagrid. When we reached the top we were greeted by Proffesor Mc Gonegal. She explained how are house would be our family and if you do well then you would gain house and if you brake rules you'd lose house points. Finally afterwards, the doors opened and my stomach churned.

"Albus? Are you okay?" Rose said, I nodded my head really fast and she let it drop. We followed Professor Mc Gonegal into the Great hall and everyone turned towards us, making me feel even more nervous and sick, James winked at me when I passed him, I felt like I was gonna be violently sick. Professor Mc Gonagal started calling out names, she reached Luna's name and she went up, trembling,

"ahhh a Longbottom" the hat spoke "a very respected family. GRYFFINDOR!" The Gryffindor table cheered loudly. It went on until my name was called "Albus Potter", I walked up trembling and sat on the chair. The hat was massive on me and all I could see was the leather, "we have lots of bravery here" the hat spoke, Gryffindor, please please Gryffindor I thought "Gryffindor, you could be great in other ones, possibly Slytherin, NO! No please please Gryffindor I pleaded. "If your sure, GRYFFINDOR!" The Gryffindor table cheered the loudest ever and started chanting "we've got another Potter" over and over again, I smiled the biggest smile i've probably the ever smiled before.

I walked over and James got up and sat beside me, he put his arm round me, and started introducing me to his friends. There was Josh, Ray, Micheal, Robert, Martin and Conor, they all seemed cool. Once Proffesor McGonagal calmed the Gryffindor's, partly using a silencing charm. It went on until It was Rose's turn. It barely touched her head when it shouted "GRYFFINDOR!"

After the feast we all followed the prefect, messing about with James and his mates and planning a prank on the Slytherin's to show they're the worst and we're the boss's of the school. We were in the common room planning what to do on the Slytherin's.

In the end we decided to change they're common room password and get their belongings and putting them around Hogwarts, spreading them out. We could find the password out by a dis-illisionment charm, which was 7th year stuff but James had perfected it already, and waiting outside the Slytherin common room until some git came and said the password. And to be honest I looked up to James but would never say it to him.

That night I wrote to my parents telling them I got into Gryffindor, my converstion with the sorting hat and meeting James' friends. I slept like a baby that night dreaming of the faces of Slytherin's when they saw what happened. I smiled in my sleep with mischeif.
