I can't

Chapter 24-

I wake up and run to the bathroom. I throw up and hear feet rushing my way. "No! Go away!" I say. Ivan opens the door and kneels down to my height, "What's wrong?" He asks in his husky morning voice. "I don't know. Did I wake you?" He shakes his head, "I was already waking up when I heard you run." I nod and slump against him. "Maybe you have flu. Try to eat something.." He says rubbing my back. I sigh then nod. Ivan helps me up and I wash my face. We walk to the kitchen and he fixes me some food. "Here babe." He sets the bowl down and I dig in.

"GOOOOD MORNING!" I hear someone scream. "Jake?!" Me and Ivan say at the same time. "Ivan! Rebecca!" Jake says running in, vlogging. "Still vlogging, eh?" I say chuckling. He nods and gives me and Ivan a hug. "Where's Tessa?" Jake asks. Ivan freezes and I grit my teeth. "What? Did I say something wrong?" Jake say backing away. I look at Ivan and he nods. "Becca and Tessa got in a fight." Ivan explains. "Arguing? Or actual fighting?" Jake asks. I laugh, and when I laugh when I'm mad, let's just say it's not a good sign. "No. Jake. Actual fighting."

"About what?!" He asks shocked. "Me". "Ivan."  Ivan and I say at the same time. Jake laughs, "Fighting over guys... Classic!" I shake my head and go upstairs to pack. "Why can't you stay?" Ivan asks for the thousandth time in the past 5 minutes. "I can't, Iv. I have to go home at least until my birthday then I'll come back." I throw my charger into my bag and zip it up. "Promise?" Ivan asks, sadness in his beautiful eyes. "I promise," I hold out my pinky and wrap mine with his, "I pinky promise." He smiles and pulls me on top of him.

"I really wish I could stay... I have to leave in like an hour." Ivan huffs and squeezes me tighter. I gasp for breath, "Y-You're kinda squeezing a little too tight, Iv!" He chuckles and loosens his grip, "Sorry." I smile, "It's otay!"

Ivan and I had fell asleep watching scary movies since Halloween is also coming up and when I woke up, I had exactly 10 minutes. "Bye guys!! I love you!" I said to the group that had gathered at the door to wish me goodbye... Except Tessa. "We'll miss you! Have fun!" Tristan says waving me goodbye. I give Ivan one more kiss and leave. "Ready to go?" Jake asks as I get in Blood Shark. I sigh and nod.

Jake smiles and we leave the Team 10 house. We talk and laugh the whole time, just hanging out. "You know... When you get back, we'll be in the new team 10 mansion!" I gasp, "Save me a big room!" He laughs, "Okay." Jake drops me off and I give him a huge hug. A tear escapes my eye as I squeeze him, "I just want to thank you.... For everything. Letting me stay, letting me be apart of such an amazing family... I love all of you guys so much." He chuckles, "Stop, you're gonna make me cry!" I laugh and we release each other.

"Have fun and oh- Happy early Birthday, Rebecca..." I smile, "Thanks, Jake. Goodbye..." He waves and I leave to get on my flight.

"My baby!!" My mom screams as I run to hug her. "Sissy!" Kage moves our mom out of the way and I laugh as he picks me up and spins me. "Oh yeah, I'm kinda sick., I might've threw up this morning..." I say and Kage makes a weird noise as he drops me. I groan and rub my back. "Go lie down then, but we're happy you're home." My dad says helping me up. "Yeah... Okay."

•5 days later•
"Happy birthday bitch!" Rose screams over the phone. I laugh, "Thanks. Finally 18.." We laugh and Rose says, "Hope you have a good day, love you best Fran!" I tell her bye and we hang up. I get up to fix me something to drink when I feel someone grab me and sling me over their shoulder. "Kage put me down!" I say as I laugh. "Hey! How'd you know it was me?!" He whines putting me down. I put one hand on my hip and look him in the eye, "Who else could pick me up like that?" He shrugs and I pop him in the back of the head.

"Owe! Just because it's your birthday doesn't mean you can torture me!" I laugh, "So you did remember?!" He mocks my laugh and sticks his tongue out, "Nah duh dipshit, happy birthday." I thank him and run to the kitchen. "What's for breakfast?" Kage asks sitting at the table. I scoff, "Umm, you're suppose to cook for me.." Our mom walks in and gives me a hug, "Happy birthday!" I thank her and say, "I'm hungry... GIVE MEH FOOOD!"
