A long furred she-cat slithered through the high lands, her long fur blew in the tough unforgiving wind. Her golden eyes flickered warily form side to side, she sniffed the air, gagging as she smelt car smoke. She hissed in disgust, her nose rose slightly as she did the action. Her rough brown paw pads, dragged against the ground as she took small wary steps towards the unforgiving, bitter scent. Her eyes glinted dangerously when she saw the barking mongrel dogs and their human companions. The barks of the dogs echoed off the rocky walls of the mountains, making a haunting and slightly creepy sound. She yawned, and started to groom her paw, rubbing it behind her triangular shaped ears. She yawned and stretched, her long delicate limbs stretched out at her whim.

She silently padded down to rocky mountain side, her pink pads kicked small pebbles out of the way. She walks with purpose, without hesitation nor meekness in her steps. She stayed low to the ground, her long fur brushed the rocky ground, catching dust as she went on. She sniffed the air testily, the dogs were getting closer. She bristled slightly at the thought of the mongrels catching her in their blood thirsty jaws, drool dripping into her silky fur. She quickly licked her back, successfully lowering her risen fur. As she licked her fur, she purred lightly, she always loved the feeling of her especially rough tongue, gliding across her long fur. She quickly stopped when she scented the smell of the dogs, it was getting stronger, far to strong for the mysterious she cats liking.

She quickly stood up and shook out her fur, successfully fluffing up the dense fur, not to mention making her comfortably warm. She licked her lips, yawning as she did, her tail swooshed on the ground. She contemplated on whether she should stay and watch these mindless mutts, or go, to avoid endangering her life.

"Better safe than sorry," she murmured to herself, quietly. Her eyes flicked towards the oncoming mutts, her whisked twitched as she changed her facial expressions thoughtfully. With a flick of her tail, she leaped away from the oncoming danger.

As she wondered to desolate landscape, her mind wondered back to the odd close encounter. She rarely if never, saw humans and their loyal little mutts up in the mountains. Only twice in her two years has she seen them coming up, both times they left with a horrified expressions. Both without their companions walking at their heals, ready for command. They smelt of fear and anxiety, the bitter scent of sadness always coated them on their way out. Their eyes held horrors only known to them, all of them dole and glasses over with unshed tears.

She was quickly ripped out of her thought when the scent of a mouse entered her delicate nose. She sniffed again, it was definitely a mouse. Her eyes started to contract until they were mere black slits, her body tensed. She slowly started to creep forward, each time she did so, her limbs reached out to a lengthy distance. Her ears pricked forwards, ready for the slightest of sounds, her tail stood low, yet high enough for it not to brush against stray pebbles nor long pieces of twigs and grass. Her long elegant body slowly crept forward, her eyes calculated every little movement. Though it looked as though she was depending on her eyes. Which she kind of was, she also depended heavily on her hearing.

The smallest of nibbles on crunchy grass, the sound of crunching in snow, she could hear it. Her hearing did come at a limit, but she was content with her ability.

With a lightning fast reaction, she pounced, a small mouse squeaked feebly in her jaws. With a quick crack, the mouse lay limp, its heart beat no more, it's eyes no longer held the vibrant life it once held. Death is inescapable, you can't avoid it. No matter how careful you are, how safe you feel. There will always be a slip up, a younger, your own specials will either strike you down. Or sickness will invade your once strong body. Sickness, old age, killed by another, starvation. It all comes down to one thing. Death.

Oh how gruesome life truly is....

The female delicately licked the mouses forehead, paying respect to the small creature . She wasn't down stupid animal that took other animals life's carelessly, humans had grown to stereotype cats. They thought if them as cold, cruel, and oh so very distant. They compared cats too closely to their dogs, dogs were loyal. They were loving, they loved heir owners unconditionally.

But cats are different. They doing wear their hearts or in the open. Instead, they show small gestures to humans. Gestures that a human would brush off as a cat thing, when really it's so much more. All animals have their own different personalities, some are more affectionate, others must warm up to you, and some immediately trust you, very rare though.

The female, quickly started to eat her food, once she was done she licked her mouth. Yawning slightly, she looked around for somewhere safe to sleep. She trotted towards a overhang cliff with soft looking moss, she started circling herself, she finally settled down. She rubbed her head against the rough yet soft moss, she purred in contentment. She closed her eyes and slept.

The brown, almost black, females eyes fluttered open, her bright golden eyes were but only small slits. She slowly crept out of her bedding, she started to stretch. The fur on her back rising slightly as she arched her back, she shook her head and started to lap at her back and tail. She yawned tiredly, a cool breeze passed by her, sending a shiver down her long elegant spine. Her fur ripples as she tried her best to fluff up her somewhat dense fur.

She slowly started to walk away from her makeshift den, she sighed, she was already missing her warm sheltered den.

The she cat, decided to go check up on the humans and their mutts. She trotted down the steep hill, her leaps, looked graceful as a swan. Her nose twitched when she smelt the fresh scent of human, she quickly accelerated her pace. She crouched down upon hearing murmuring.

"Man... I dunno.. I constantly feel like someone's watching us. Or something.. dogs even seem slightly frightened," the slightly masculine voice spoke, his voice was softly spoken.

The she cat crouched forward slightly, her eyes searched the humans expression, "Awww come on! You've been such a pathetic wuss this whole time!" A human with a scruffy face appeared, his hair was down to his ears, slightly covering it. He seemed to have a sun kissed skin, bright and healthy.

"P-please... I-I just don't like this pla-place," a shy, soft voice stuttered out. The she cat looked at the human the voice belonged to, a small scrawny pale boy stood. He was hunched over and seemed to be shaking slightly, he seemed very shy and submissive. His hairs had a dark rich color to it, standing out against his pale skin.

The taller man sneered at the small man, his face seemed to show disgust towards the poor human.
The  brown she cat yawned and sat down on her haunches, this was going to be interesting...

Her golden eyes examined everything, they were wondrous, full of curiosity, that could indeed kill her. But really, who knows, life is full of wonder.
Everyone one seemed to so scared from the mountains that the she cat called home. But just what was so bad

This is my small chapter, it's more of a script than anything. I don't know if I'll continue, most likely not, I just wants to write or type this cause I felt like it. None of the pictures are owned by me, so yeah.
