"I can't believe you're actually letting me do this, dude," I speak excitedly, packing my bowl as dense as I could. "I doubt you'll get high your first time, so don't dismiss it if you don't feel anything this time." My speech was slow and well thought out. I was already buzzed when Andy came over. He could tell, and I could tell he had something up his sleeve by the devilish gleam in his blue eyes.

When he asked me to get him high for the first time, I was honored. I don't know what it is with stoners and getting people high for the first time. Don't knock it 'til you try it, my man.

I dragged him into the house, and into my basement the room slightly hazy from the last couple pinchies I had already smoked. And now we sit down here, across from each other, cross legged on the floor. "I didn't even plan to get high today, but now I'm excited to.

I finished packing the bowl, and offered Andy greens. "It's much smoother if you take the first hit. It doesn't hurt as much." I lost my weed virginity on greens and I wanted him to have a similar experience. Andy nodded at me, obviously nervous. "Just hold it to your mouth and breath in, I light it for you." I reach over with a clipper lighter as soon as he brought it to his mouth. He took his first hit breathing it deep into his lungs, taking the piece away from his mouth. He handed it to me and exhaled.

"God that smells disgusting how can you stand it?" He groans, making a face at me.

"Listen here buddy," I bring the piece to my mouth and take a hit, inhaling and exhaling. "I constantly smell like this so what're you tryna say?" I hand the bowl to him.

"You smell good. The weed doesn't." Andy rolls his eyes at me. "Will you light this one more time for me?" He asks, gesturing toward the lighter as he brings the end to his lips.

"Yeah, you big pussy, I will." I bring it up to the bowl and light it for him.

Suddenly there was an eruption of coughs coming from Andy. "Jesus fuck!" He gasps, continuing to cough. I laugh at him for a solid minute it felt like before I reached over and handed him a drink of my soda. He chugged it and continues to cough.

"Don't throw up, I'll make you clean it up," I mutter at him, while he gasps for air.

He shoots me a glare as he finally calms down, handing the bowl over to me to take a hit off of.

We finished two bowls, and me being at a pretty chill high probably could smoke another, but I decided not to waste my weed on someone who wouldn't get high until the eighth. "Andy we're gonna stop for now."

He groans. Obviously something was up to make him not want to be sober, otherwise why would he be here. He'd been so ridiculously against it before... I decided not to ask. I'm his best friend and if he wanted to talk about it he would be, and he will if he does later. "I think we should pass out, it's like twelve and I'm already tired as hell."

Andy nods, agreeing with me. He stands up, sighing. He quietly walks over to my bed in the corner and plops down on it. That was weird to me. He had always crashed on the couch when he was over, out of respect for Juliet.

They were probably in a fight, and it was smart of me not to get involved if that's what it is that's bothering him. I shrug, standing up, pulling my jeans off and changing into a pair of shorts to sleep in. I plop down right next to him and he rolls over to face the wall. I can tell he's hardly going to sleep tonight.

I lay down too, facing the opposite direction as well, shimmying myself between the sheets, I roll over on to my stomach, passing out immediately.
