Cassie went to school with a huge smile. She finally made a few friends and every weekend, she always went partying with Shante, Danekah, and Peaches. Cassie knew almost everything she had in her life was going the correct way.
One Day, Shante told her that they were going to a party in Jersey. She thought it would be fun since she hadn’t been in jersey for almost 2 months. They had fun dancing with all sorts of guys. When Cassie was by herself siting near the bar, she saw Dante and Tika walk into the club. Dante looked better than she remembered. Tika's butt looked bigger, hell everything looked bigger. She actually looked a few weeks pregnant. She ignored them and was looking around the crowd. She tried to find Shante to go but couldn’t so she sat there declining people asking her to dance.
"Cassie?" She heard a guy’s voice say. She turned around to see Tyshon.
"OH MY GOD" She said jumping up and down. She gave him a long hug.
"How've ya been?" He asked letting go.
"Wonderful and you?"
"Im alright, business as usual...where you staying at now?"
"Boy im in Philly"
"Oh, damn"
"Actually it’s not that bad. But anyway how are Shaquinna and the kids? Most importantly how is my nephew?" She asked.
"Bad as hell, he doesn’t like to listen to a thing he's being told"
"That’s in his blood"
"Actually, it’s weird how I ran into you, Shaquinna and I was just talking about hitting you up"
"Oh word?"
"Yup"
"But yeah, i doubt imma be able to see ya'll hell im not supposed to be here"
"Your father again?"
"Yup, getting into trouble almost getting me killed"
"I know, that’s why im happy Shaquinna did move with yall grandmother when she was young"
"Whatever" His cell phone rang. HE looked at the caller Id and handed it to Cassie
"Answer it"
"Hello" Cassie said.
"Who the fuck is this answering my husband’s phone"
"Sis, you need to calm all that down, it’s just me Cassie"
"OH MY GOD CASSIE" She said sounding like she was going to cry. They talked on the phone for a long ass time and then had to hang up since Ty was leaving. Cassie gave him a hug goodbye and then sat back down. She was so bored and looked down at her phone and saw it was 1 o'clock. She then tried to find Shante.
