"I got it!" Catching the oncoming ball i threw it in, as benny screeched.

"Were leaving Jules! Its getting too dark" and with that me Luke and Benny headed on our way home. I was hoping for a peaceful walk home, but that was war far from what i got.

" So jules, are you going to exlain what the hell happened at school because youve been quiet ever since." Its true, i really didnt want to bring up the thing with calum.

Iknew once i told benny he had humiliated me bennyd go all overprotective brother on me. He always did that and it annoyed the shit out of me, but i still had to tell him.

"It was just Calum being Calum. You know him being a dick and stuff."

"So its not bothering you anymore jules?Because you know me and luke could go talk to him and....."

"Nope, that wont be necesssary but thank you." Luke looked shocked, almost as if he was afraid of calum.

"Right Lukey, no reason to go over there."

"Oh umm, yea jules." He gulped, luke had always been quite shy. Though i thought he was tougher than this, I guess not.With your mom being a math teacher a school you could only be so tough, I regained my attention as benny spoke.

"Bye Jules, Ill see you later, Luke watch out for her on the rest of the walk." Oh god, more protective brother. And with that he left me and Luke on our merry way.

" Thank god hes gone Luke, I thought hed never shut up." I said truthfully. I knew Luke was thinking the same thing. But probably not wanting to bring it up.

"I know Julie, he can be so fucking annoying sometimes. he hardly ever lets you speak on your own."

" yea ,yea I know. He just wants to be like protective."

"Or he's deeply in love with you, ya know either or." Luke,said. I new he was joking but he was just so serious about it.

" Yea luke he's totally in love with me." I said in a sarcastic manner while fixing my braid that was conveniently covered partly by my baseball cap.

Well it was actually Luke's baseball cap, but he didn't seem to mind when I stole it from him. But that's when I heard the familiar loud sound coming from a particular car. I knew that car from somewhere. And that's when i finally remembered. It was calums car.

I could hear it make its way down the road, loud music blaring from the speakers and teenage boys laughing. They were almost behind us when luke grabbed my hand, it took me by surprise but I went along with it. He was just keeping his promise to Benny.

And that's when the car had finally caught up with us, it slowed down to match the pace of our walking . I felt Luke's hand tense around mine. Oh god, this may not end well.
