Her name was Melody. She was quite something.
I was sitting in the back of the class, head in a book as the teacher grabbed our attention.
"Class, this is our new student, Melody." She blushed and waved, running her skinny fingers through her pixie cut hair.
"Hi, I'm Melody, I just started coming back to school. I was out due to lung cancer but it seems to be getting better!" Everyone clapped.
"Melody, if you would take a seat, either by Hayley or Awsten." He guestered to an orange headed girl and me.
Melody smiled at me and walked over to the empty seat.
