A GIFT

Chapter 1-

I was awakened by the sound of Monster playing on the stereo and I couldn't help but wrapped my pillow around my ears. Don't get me wrong I don't hate kpop its just not my type of music to listen to. My best friend Stephanie, on the other hand, loves to listen to them. Every time I walk into her room all I see is posters of BTS, GOT7, EXO, ASTRO, and even SHINee.

"Wake up Jessica it's already 12 in the afternoon what are you still doing sleeping?" she tells me as she takes away my blanket

"It's my only day off let me sleep and do me a favor and turn down the music," I tell her as I get my blanket back

"You're missing out on talent is all I'm saying."

As Stephanie walked out my room I couldn't help but search up the EXO members and I couldn't get my eyes off of one specific of the members. I turned off my phone and went to take a shower.

As I walked out of the shower I still find Stephanie listening to EXO and I knew right away what her birthday present was going to be. I looked for concert tickets and luckily I found some on the same day as her birthday. The price didn't matter to me because I know this is something Stephanie would really love and I can't ask for a better best friend. I am not using my best friend birthday as an excuse to see that one cute member I actually like their songs.

We were only in our sophomore year of high school when she moved to Seoul and I still remember our little conversation we had before going to class,

"Hey my name is Stephanie and I just moved to Seoul"

"My name is Jessica, nice to meet you, do you like it here so far?"

"I haven't had much time to look around, I'm still unpacking"

"Well maybe I can help you unpack afterschool and after we could get something to eat, if that okay with your parents"

"That would be great, and my parents wouldn't mind trust me"

"Great, I'll meet you in front of the school

I couldn't wait two weeks to give Stephanie her gift so I decided to give it to her now, such a great idea

"Stephanie come here for a minute, please," I tell her

"What's up?"

"I know your birthday is in two weeks but knowing me I would not be able to hide it for two whole weeks so here it is." I hand her an envelope with the tickets printed

As Stephanie opens the envelope I couldn't help but smile, seconds later Stephanie screams of excitement and she immediately runs over me and the biggest hug.

"AHHHHHHHHH, WERE GOING TO SEE EXO LIVE OHHH MYYY GOSHHH. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU" she yells

"your welcome, you deserve it."

"IM GOING TO SEE EXO, I'm going to see EXO!"

"Look at the seats," I tell her

"You cant be serious, front row, your telling me that I am going to be able to see their beautiful faces!"

"Yes we a- I mean you are" I stuttered

"these tickets must have cost a fortune, how can I ever repay you," she tells me

"by never leaving my side," I tell her with a warm smile

"I freaken love you, I can't believe that I am going to see EXO live," she tells me while hugging me

I'm also a little bit excited to see EXO live!

note:

I am finally giving writing another try. I was reading my first story and I was a mess omg, LMAO. I am a senior in high school now and I don't know if I would have much time to write, but I will give it a try. I hope you guys enjoy this story. My chapters, for now, will be a bit short.
