MADI
I don't want to visit without anything on my hand.
"Gusto niya 'tong si Baymax. When she watched the movie, sabi niya gusto niyang maging si Baymax. She wanted to be a nurse raw 'pag laki niya," he explained while holding a Baymax stuffed toy.
"Hmm.. ganon ba? Sige, I'll give this to her," sabi ko at kinuha sa kanya ang laruan.
"Madi, this is too much already. Hindi mo naman kailangang gawin 'to."
"Yeah, I don't need to do this, right? But I want to do it and give these to her. Ayoko namang bumisita ng walang dala. Saka bata 'yon. Gusto nilang nakakatanggap."
"Okay. If that's what you want."
EXCITED ako pero kinakabahan din at the same time. I don't know how I'd react kapag nakita ko na ang anak niya. I'll just try my best to interact with a kid even though hindi ako sanay lalo na sa mga bata.
"Huwag kang mag – alala. I smiled and uneasily nodded.
Papunta na kami kung saan naroroon si Sandi and I don't have any idea where would it be. "Umidlip ka muna. Malayo – layo pa tayo, eh." Tumango ulit ako saka napagpasyahang umidlip muna.
I WOKE up when Jack shook me a little. Napasarap ata ang tulog ko. I tried to open my eyes kasi medyo blurry pa ang paningin ko. When I finally realized where are we at, "Why are we here, Jack?"
"Diba gusto mong makilala si Sandi? Kaya nandito na tayo. Get up you sleepy head," he snorted while helping me out from my seat.
"You'll know in awhile," and he started walking while his one hand cupping my left arm. His other hand helped me carry the things I brought for the kid.
"HI, BABY. I'm here again. How are you?" I can hear Jack's dreadly voice. "Hmm.. This is Madi. Siya 'yung tinutukoy ko sa'yo noon," he added while looking at me smiling.
"I'm so sorry, Jack. I didn't know," I sincerely apologized.
"It's fine. Alam kong malungkot siya at hindi pa totally naka – move on, but he's trying.
And that moment, may taning na ang buhay niya," he sighed saka nagpatuloy sa pagsasalita. "That was our anniversary when I left. I'm sorry I didn't even bother to explain why I had to leave. That day kasi tinawagan ako ng resident doctor ni Sandi telling me to come over to the hospital and that it was an emergency," he paused for a while. S-she left,"
