Well, here it goes. Figured I'd just say this though, so skip this or understand. I thought so. I will warn you, there is worse language to come. Nothing an average 11-12 year old hasn't heard, so, if you don't like it I wouldn't tease yourself by reading and being discusted later on. It gets a lot better too. Okay on to understanding:
Alex: just wants a shot at Audrie. She's pretty cute yah know? (not her type, comes off as a full-of-himself guy.)
Jason: He's not cocky, nor confident, but he's pretty sure Audrie's not falling for Alex.
I have pictures of who I think is who, but I don't like to post them because it's just a thing of mine. Like Twilight was ruined for me when I saw Kristen Stewart as Bella. No, no, no... she was supposed to be UNIQUELY PRETTY! not bleh, I used to be tomboy! Sorry, anyways both guys are pretty even competition... 'nough said.
ENJOY!
My phone buzzed on the lunch table. I picked it up slowly, trying to look nonchalant. I pulled the two papers out of my pocket and looked at the numbers to figure out who it was, Alex.
Alex: Hey, you in lunch right now?
Me: Yeah, you?
Alex: well I saw you and didn’t want to be a stalker so I thought I’d ask before coming over to your table. Smile if you want me to come over. I smiled.
The people at my table talked about the new movies they wanted to see, and I watched Alex walk over to the table and take the second to last seat. “I heard you told Jason you liked him.”
“So that’s the best gossip people can talk about?”
“Huh, well I guess it’s true because you didn’t deny it. So it’s assumable?” Alex gave off a depressed toothy smile and shake of the head.
“You know what they say about assuming,” I raised both eyebrows for his response.
“I don’t actually, inform me.”
“It makes an ass out of you and me, isn’t that a coincidence, Alex?” I leave it at a sarcastic remark.
“Did you just call me an ass?” He smiled teasingly and we laughed together. “So, Audrie, maybe I can change your mind about Jason…”
“You’re really stuck on that, and you haven’t even paid the least bit of attention to my name for the last five months. Well you can give it a try, I can’t stop you either way.” I picked up a carrot.
“What if I kissed you?” He asked.
“Suppose I slapped you?” I quickly jumped on.
“And if I backed off?” Oh, I see how it is.
“But I edged you on?” I’m not stupid, Mr.
“What if I tried again?” Hmm, interesting idea here.
“Suppose you understood?” I’m going to let him know.
“What would that make me feel?” He was good, almost too good.
“What if I kissed you?” I smiled at him.
“And I’d smile, but feel tricked?” Good move, Mr.
“Then I think you have your answer, Alex,” I smiled.
