"Was gonna to leave now I have to stay" - "You have taken my breath away" - "It's in your eyes" - "I can tell what your thinking" - "I've been watching you lately" - "I want to make it with you" - "Destiny has a funny way when it comes and takes all your cares away"
Yeah, description sucks! Meh
Hi! If you're not 1 of my fans then u probably don't know, but I'm just 13 years old. This in mind, please don't be judgmental! I'm just a kid who wanted 2 try for a contest! If anyone bothers reading this please review and tell me if I got her characters sorta right ;D
Covers made by me! No, that's not Death cuz it's a girl! He's a dude! It doesn't have much 2 do with the story but.......I made the cover and liked it so I used it! It suits the theme to the story!
"The Eyes Of Death".....cheesy, no? Whatever! I'm not creative when it comes to titles! I know Faith has seen his eyes before but......ya, I didn't realize it until after I wrote it and was 2 lazy 2 do anything about it.
I've read other entries and mine is......less dramatic.......it's also longer. I tried imitating the writer's style where she shows the characters thoughts b4 letting action happen!

Every single time I tried imagining Death's face, a different one popped in my mind.
It was something I thought about constantly. Every time I was forced to look at that clock hidden face of his, I'd wonder what it truly looked like. He obviously didn't want me to see it. Whether it was because he wanted to taunt me with this hidden information or he was afraid of how I'd react to his appearance, I don't know.
Surely he's not revolting. If his face was that bad looking I probably wouldn't have talked to him when I was a kid. As a child I'd judge on appearance at first; he would've scared me off if he was ugly.
I'd always imagine him with a young face. No wrinkles, no white tinged hair. Sometimes I imagined slight stubble on his chin and upper lip. Since every supernatural being I've ever come in contact with had breathtaking appearances, I'd imagine he was too. Albeit he was a fallen angel, he still might look like them.
Often I'd think his skin tone would be a slightly tan shade. Since he always hid under his cloak he may he pale due to lack of sunlight. I'd also opine that he'd have an inky, twisted, carefully designed tattoo on his face, a pattern akin to the one David had.
If David was Death, then did they look alike? I know Death doesn't look exactly like David since Death said I'd recognize him immediately. Death had the amazing ability to change his physical appearance though. Maybe he slightly altered his face and he did look a little like David.
One detail that was always the same when I tried imagining his face was his eyes. I've seen them once, but it was such a vague blurry mental image I cant be sure. I expected them to be black, just to go along with his personality. A piercing onyx color that would remain impassive unless he was provoked. Since he was Death he might have red Stygian eyes sending a spark of fear and danger through his victim's spines. Or maybe his eyes really were a radiant green color that I remember. I couldn't imagine him with blue or hazel eyes though. Those colors just didn't suit him.
His eyes were what I always dreamed of seeing. After all this time I've known him, all this time he's played with my heart and messed with my mind, I never got to even see the eyes of my tormentor. When he looked at me were his eyes narrowed and smoldering? Were they soft and caring? As if, he's death, I doubt he's capable of expressing such tender emotions.
They say the eyes are the window to the soul. They expressed emotions words can't. What I'd give to catch just a glimpse of Death's eyes, just so I could memorize those secretive orbs of his. It's not really the color that matters to me. It's the look in them when they're looking at me.
