New Perspective

A Wish

"I'm sick of it all!" Crystal exclaimed to herself, "I'm sick of the same old bullshit! Everyday it's the same old lie! I'm done with reality! I just wish I could life in a new perspective!"

"That can be arranged." A low whisper said.

"What the Hell, did I just hear that? No, don't be crazy you didn't hear anything, you're really tired. Yeah, yeah that's right. Not. Going. Insane. At. All." Crystal said to herself.

"Oh, but you aren't mishearing, or going crazy." The whisper said.

"Who are you!? I have a gun!!" Crystal yelled into thin air.

"Now now, don't be so scared I'm simply here to help you." The whisper said.

"Ah yes a voice is here to help me, how stupid of me? EXCEPT I'M NOT!!" Crystal exclaimed.

"Shush, don't want to get the neighbors mad, or riled up." The whisper said.

"Fine. Whatever. What do you want?" Crystal said through gritted teeth.

"You want to live life through a new perspective, do you not?" The whisper asked.

"Yeah, and your point iiiiiiiiisssss?" Crystal said getting more annoyed.

"I can help you with that." The whisper said.

"Oh really, and how are you going to do that? A drug trip? I don't do drugs." Crystal asked.

"Then what was last week?" The whisper said with what crystal assumed would be a smirk.

"HEY THAT WAS BECAUSE I WAS CURIOUS AND DRUNK!!" She yelled.

"Sure it was." The whisper said.

"Oh fuck off and tell me the deal already I'm growing annoyed with your voice." Crystal said.

"Fine, fine. The deal is you help me with something and I'll help you live your new life." The whisper said.

"What do I have to help you with?" Crystal asked.

"Something that doesn't matter right now, only later will it be needed." The whisper said.

"Fine I'll take your deal." Crystal said.

"Perfect." The whisper said with a snake like voice.

"I don't like that tone." Crystal said.

"Oh trust me everything will be alright when you wake tomorrow morning just say you promise and the deal will be done." The whisper said with what sounded like a little bit of a hiss.

"I promise." Crystal said.

"And with that the deal is sealed. Good night Crystal." The voice hissed.

"This is either a deal with the devil or I'm high as fuck." Crystal said to herself.

And with that Crystal closed her eyes and slept. She never even thought about what would happen next. Or what the outcome would be with the promise.
