Soulmate AU (but with a twist ~red string~)
The word soulmate was big as the red string phenomenon connected you to your soulmate.
But, Midoriya and Todoroki were never born with the red string.

However that wasn't the case with Midoriya and Todoroki. They were born without the red string... It never seemed to bother Todoroki and he never spoke about it to his father. But for Midoriya it effected him greatly.... He didn't have a quirk nor a soulmate, he thought the world hated him.
He thought what did he to deserve this. He was also bullied throughout his Preschool to Middle school days. His chances of becoming a hero in his mind was soon becoming demoralized. However even if he didn't have a quirk he longed for a soulmate. Midoriya thought what it would be like to have one and what kind of person would it be.
Todoroki born with a two quirks that impressed his father greatly was born with no string. When Todoroki found out about the huge red string phenomenon, he realized he didn't have one. It bothered him the first time he found out he didn't have one. It didn't bother him, more like he thought about it often. Even after all the harsh training his father gave him. He longed for one too... But Todoroki thought he shouldn't think about it much anymore. If he was born without one he had to accept that fact. So Todoroki just stopped thinking about it for a while. But sometimes there would be a time he would think about it. No matter how much he tried pushing it into the back of his mind, it always seemed to come back.
They didn't know at that time.... That there dreams of having a soulmate will soon come true.
