Daughter of Poseidon

A Greek gods fanfic/truth

Chapter One:

Two days ago, I couldn't even step into water, and now, I can't get out of it. I used to not even want to go outside, but now I want to be outside all the time. My best friend has been suspicious about something, but I don't know what. I wish I could stay all day under water instead of going another day of high school. The only thing good about it, is that all my friends are there. "Hey Tide!"

My name is Teresa, but ever since I became captain of the swim team, my friends brought it upon themselves to nickname me 'Tide'.

"Are you coming over this weekend?"

"Gee, I really don't know Scar. But I'm pretty sure I am." My best friend's name is Scarlett, but no one calls her that. I mean, if you saw her, you wouldn't call her Scarlett. She is always dressed in black ripped up jeans, her hair is dark brown, she always wears a pair of black combat boots, and always wears her old leather jacket. (And she used to cut her arms so she had scars.)

"Good. 'Cause I have some things that you might really like to do. Like, for instance, go to the lake?" I threw my arms around her and said,

"You had me at 'Lake'."

I'm at the bottom of the lake and I think I see something. It gets closer, and closer, then just disappears. I try to swim up to the surface, but my leg is caught on something. I try and pull it free, but a huge gash appears on my shin. I scream, but at the same time, lose my air, and lose consciousness.

When I wake up, I'm in a camp of people dressed up in roman armor, and looking like their about to go into a battle. All the people around me, had wraps on their heads, arms, legs, and waist. I try to sit up. "Ugh... W-Where am I?" I ask the boy sitting next to me. He had long black hair, brown eyes, very strong, and looked tall. He smiled and answered politely, "Your in sickbay. You were stuck in Scar's lake. I'm glad your okay."

"Me too." I smiled, and think I also blushed. "I'm Christian, but you can call me C.C."

Later, I find Scar at the archery place shooting a deer fifty feet away. "Wow. I can't believe you never told me about any of this. But, why am I hear?"

"Your here-I can't tell you. But I know who can..."

"Who? Who art thou speaking of?" She looked at me confused. "Why are you speaking in Old English?" My eyes widened. "I do not know. Why art thy?"

"I really have NO idea. Come with me anyway. I have someone to show you." She brings me down a path of wisps. At the end, there was my grandpa. The only thing different, was he wasn't in a wheel chair anymore, and he was a centaur.

"Grandpa? Is that really you?" He smiles and nods.

"My have you grown. How's your mother?"

"Good, I guess. Can YOU tell me why I'm here?" He grabs my hand and puts me on his back. "We are going to your brothers' cabin."

"What? You know I don't have brothers."

"Half-brothers then."

We went to a cabin near the lake. It had two boys in it. One a human, the other a cyclops. The human was tall, strong, handsome, brown hair, and green eyes. Like mine. The cyclops was tall, strong, decent-looking, brown dreadlocks, and a brown eye. As soon as I walked into the cabin, the human looked at me. "Um, who are you? If you are in the Persephone cabin, it's-"

"Actually, I don't even know why I'm here. Nobody will tell me."

"Well, you must be a half-blood. Your right here. You have to be a half-blood just to get in here. Well, unless your a satyr." My grandpa walks in and looks at me. "Teresa, you are daughter of Poseidon, god of the sea. I'm sorry no one ever told you earlier. Especially me. But it's more dangerous once you know. This is Percy," He gestures to the human, "and Tyson." He gestures to the cyclops.

"What a minute. I have another unknown sibling? Someday we'll find out a whole army is my siblings!" Percy suddenly bursted. "Well, I think she pretty." Tyson said. I blushed. "Don't you have to have green eyes to be a child of Poseidon?" Grandpa-let's just call him Chiron-shakes his head. "Your eyes have nothing to do with it. Plus, I know your just wearing blue contacts. It mostly depends on how you act around water. You are head of the swim team."

"Um... okay? How would you know that?"

"Scarlett informs me about you every time you decline her request to spend the night." Oh yeah! I wonder?... "What half-blood is Scar? Persephone? Athena? Aphrodite?"

"She is an Athena half-blood. She is good friends with Percy's best friend, Annabeth Chase."

"Is their any Zeus half-bloods?" Percy looked a little angry. "Yes. Her name is Thalia Grace. She and Percy don't get along very well. And another, Clarisse La Rue, daughter of Ares, and yet another, Luke Castellan, son of Hermes. I don't want to tell you all of them, or you won't make any friends." I turned to Percy and Tyson. "So, your my 'brothers'?" I made apostrophes with my fingers.

"Yep. Do you like fish ponies?"

"I'm sorry? What are 'fish ponies'?" I asked. Percy answered like I should have known; "Fish ponies are just a horse with a tail of a fish. But they don't just look like a normal horse." I wonder if he either doesn't like me, or he has a crush on me. I wonder?... But there is that other guy. What's his name again? Oh yeah. C.C. I wonder if he likes me. "Hey grandp-er-Chiron? Do you know someone named Christian? I don't know his last name."

"I think he is son of Hades, but I could be wrong."

___Percy's POV___

"What a minute. I have another unknown sibling? Someday we'll find out a whole army are my siblings!" I didn't mean for it to sound so sudden and mean, but I mostly blame that on the ADHD. She looks a little like Thalia; black ripped army jacket, leather pants, black combat boots, and spikey dyed black hair. But, somehow, she appealed to me. Maybe it's because she is my half-sister, but maybe it's because her best friend is my old crush. I'm not sure...

"Is their any Zeus half-bloods?" As soon as she said that, I knew what Chiron was going to say. So I may have had a angry-ish face.

"The son of Hades? I thought Nico De Angelo was just-oh. You mean C.C. Teresa, was it? D-Do you like him?" She blushes and shrugs. I've never seen someone like her blush before. I think I may have seen Thalia blush before, but I'm not quite sure. "Do you wanna have a swimming contest? From the Lake, to near the Big House. I mean, if your up to it..."

___Teresa's POV___

"Yeah. Sure." I looked down at my leg, and started to walk toward the lake. I've never been here before, so I had to wait for Percy. And I have got to tell you, he is REALLY SLOW. As soon as my leg touched the water, it felt like the gash had never been there. Since Percy is so slow at walking, maybe he is really slow at swimming to. I was so wrong. I was an ammature compared to him. Of course, he may have cheated. Some how... I felt something pull at my leg, so I looked down. Guess what I saw? A little baby black bear. It was so cute! To bad it's mother started to charge me for him. "Watch out!!!"

"I know! I know!!!" I answered back. I wasn't quite sure what I should do, because one, I didn't have a weapon or anything, and two, I never fought against a bear before
