{KIAN'S POV}

I pulled away in a sudden motion.

"Don't." I said.

"What?" She asked confused.

"I guess you could say I'm seeing someone now."

She rolled her eyes.

"What do you care? It's not happening remember?" I reminded.

"Kian I-" Before she could finish I left the house.

I walked along the beach waiting for Melissa to arrive. In the distance I could see someone in a blue sundress.

"Kian right?" She said as she approached me.

"Yeah so you must be Melissa." I clarified.

"Yeah. So where are we going?" She asked.

"I was thinking Panera? It's my favorite?"

"Sounds good. I've never been there." She admitted.

"Oh my god you have no idea what you're missing out on!"

{AVERY'S POV}

I couldn't believe I embarrassed myself like that. It was an idiotic mistake. I wish I could have taken it back because I am falling for him more and more everyday.

I started to think about different things. Maybe he wasn't into me like that. If he was it was guaranteed he would have stayed, but he didn't. I was lost in the depth of confusion with my emotions.

Everyone walked back in and headed straight towards the kitchen for some water.

"Has Kian gotten out of bed?" Sam asked me.

"Avery?" He said after a minute.

It was then I realized I was staring off into space.

"What? Oh uh yeah he went to lunch with a girl named Melissa. Uh Jamie can we talk?" I walked towards her and tugged on her arm.

"Yeah." She replied as she followed me up the stairs.

"Kian uh...Kian and I kissed."

"Oh my god what?!" She shouted in a soft tone.

"Yeah."

"You said you would never be more than friends." She said.

"I thought we never could be but when we were talking he pretty much admitted to me that he was pissed when he overheard me and you talking this morning. Jamie you have to help me I don't know what to do!" I buried my face into a pillow.

"Do you know how you feel about him?" She asked.

"All I know is I keep falling for him more and more everyday." I stated.

"Oh god. Avery you have to get your mind off of him." She got up from the bed and started walking towards the door.

"That guy on the beach..." She said and walked out.

I remembered I had lunch with Dallas. I picked up my phone and dialed his number waiting for him to answer.

"Hello?" He said on the other line.

"Dallas? This is Avery." I said feeling embarrassed.

"Avery...the girl who stood me up for lunch." He questioned after a minute.
