Chaeyoung's POV

"Chaeyoung, what the fuck?" Jennie cusses, clearly questioning my sanity.

"Jennie, I swear, it's not what it looks like!" I panic, hastily closing the lid of the vanilla ice cream I totally was not gouging on.

Jennie sighs, staring solemnly at the tube of ice cream around my arms. "My ice cream!" She pouts.

I sweat drop. Jennie could be over dramatic sometimes. "Uh, it may seem like I ate your ice cream, but-" I cut her off before she could protest, "I bought this with my own money. Your ice cream is in the freezer." I explain.

Jennie peers at me suspiciously, but decides to trust me.

"See? I am trustworthy." I brag, crossing my arms, once Jennie approaches the couch with her own tube of ice cream.

"Whatever." Jennie says, rolling her eyes, plopping on the couch next to me.

"So, how's things with the boyfriend?" I tease, looking in between her and the TV show playing in front of us.

"The usual." Jennie shrugs, concentrating a little too hard at the TV.

"And what is the usual?" I press on, adding quotation marks to 'usual'.

"He's basically as he seems. Calm, collected," a pause as she blushes, "...and dominant."

I snort playfully at her reply, "Unnie is getting it on, huh?" I tease suggestively.

Jennie pushes me, due to her embarrassment, causing me to flop down to the floor in laughter.

"Hey, at least I have a love life!" Jennie fires back, still blushing as red as a tomato.

"Who needs a love life when food exists?" I reply nonchalantly, my laughter dying down.

"An intellectual." Two voices say in unison from behind us.

Jennie and I turn our heads, dramatic music practically playing in the background, to see both Lisa and Jisoo standing at the doorway.

"Well look who's back." Jennie announces, raising an eyebrow.

"I agree with me being an intellectual, but don't you have a boyfriend Jisoo?" I question, confused.

"I still love food more than Jin," Jisoo shrugs, "don't tell him that though, although he probably feels the same way as me."

"A match made in heaven indeed." Lisa joins in, sighing.

"So where were you guys?" Jennie asks once the two newcomers decide to grace the couch with their presence.

"We went to the mall and window shopped." Lisa replies, eating my ice cream. Even though food is life, I didn't really care when someone ate my food. Sharing is caring after all.

"There were some good deals, but we didn't buy anything since you guys weren't there." Jisoo adds, watching the TV.

I glance down at the time on my watch, 4:30 PM. I stand up from my spot, wiping away any dust that could have accumulated on my clothes. "Well, it's time for my daily exercise." I groan, hating myself for setting up such a schedule.

"Have fun! The weather's pretty good today." Lisa informs me enthusiastically.

"See you later!" Jennie and Jisoo chime in, waving their hands at me.

"You guys better not eat my pocky in the pantry while I'm gone. I share my food, but not those." I warn them, staring suspiciously at each individual.

"No promises!" Lisa teases.

I have to say, it is a pretty nice day today. It's not too hot, not too cold. There is wind, but it's not very strong. The sun is also out, but it's more cloudy than sunny. The perfect weather for bicycling. I smile as I close my eyes, breathing in the fresh air. I prefer being out and around than being inside. I love nature, as it always comforts me.

The sound of wheels break me from my trance, and I open my eyes to a tipsy person in a car, just a feet away from me. Somehow this scenario felt familiar, but I only manage to let a gasp out before my whole world turns black.
