•Jax POV•

Shit.... I messed up and let my anger take over.... Now Harper is pissed off at me, and I don't really have anyone to talk to..... I should go apologize to her, but I already know what's gonna happen, she's gonna yell at me, call me names, and the leave me alone for a week. I'm a idiot, aren't I? Shouldn't have I been smart and left them alone? Yea, I should've, but they were being jackasses, and I couldn't let it continue like that!

"Hey, Jax, are you sleeping or something?" Hazels voice breaks into my head, and I instantly look towards her direction

"No, I was just thinking about how pissed Harper is, she's not gonna talk to me for a week, and it's going to be so fucking boring" I say, speaking my honest thoughts

"I could spice up your week if you wanted, and why are you in the library of all places during lunch? Are that much of a nerd?" She point out, I didn't really realize that I walked here, the library is usually where Harper and I hang out..

"No, Harper and I used to hang out here, but like I said, she's mad at me. So it's just me I guess" Hazel just sits down across from me, crossing her arms over her leather jacket

"Not this time, I'm gonna stick to ya, whether you like it or not" A smile finds a way into her face "And even after she comes back, I'll stick to you like glue"

"Well, at least this will be interesting, but did you forget about your little friends? Don't they hate me even more now? What would they do if they found you hanging out with me?"

"Well, I'm their leader, I can do whatever the fuck I want, so I'm gonna be your fill-in friend for this week" Hazel says, unfolding her arms, doing stupid finger gun motions

"You know they're capable of spreading rumors about anyone and that includes you, they love drama more than my mom does" I give a laugh, knowing that when so get into the car, my mom will ask me questions that will take so much time to say

"Hey, I could easily kill rumors remember the rumor about Harper being a full on lesbian? Well I -" She was gonna continue with the sentence, but the door opens, which is weird since no one really goes in here, so we get curious and look, and we find the new kid, I think his name was Zane?

"Oh, am I interrupting something, aren't I?" He says after a few seconds of silence

"Oh, no! Do you want to join us though? I wouldn't mind, but Jax here is one of the meanest guys here, did you see Blake and Jake, he did that yesterday, thought most of them would be gone by now, guess I was wrong!" Hazel says, trying to scare the poor guy

"Hazel! Don't scare him! And I'm not that mean!"I whisper/yell, keeping in mind that we're still in a library with a few other people, who still focused their attention on their books..

"Wait, he did that? I thought some gang members did that, or so that's what they've been sayings. But I guess those could be lies, since I doubt that there are gangs here that would do that out of the blue, anyway, is that why a girl named Harper is talking so rudely about you, Jax?" Zane says, with a bit of amusement in his eyes, but his voice still cold.

He makes his way to our table, taking a seat to the right of me, setting a brown paper bag on the table , opening it pulling out a sandwich

"Well, guess you'll  be more lonely than you thought, when she talks shit, she's really pissed. It'll take maybe three weeks now? Well, that's what I remember about her anyway's" Hazel turns to me, with a grin tucking at her lips

"This is going to be great... Harper hates me, and now I'm stuck with Hazel, but I guess you are fun too, and Zane, you seem cool.. Maybe it won't be as bad? So, anyways, Zane, what classes do you have? I've only seen you in my math class so far" I ask, with pure curiosity. I know I'm a grade ahead of what I'm supposed to, but he seems around my age

"I'm in 11th grade, but take a higher math class, which does mess up my schedule. I should've been taking art in that time, but nope, I got stuck in math. But at least it's not hard. But are what others say about you true, that you're like three grades ahead?" He asks, with a small amount of shock, and somehow with a straight face, but me on the other hand was laughing my ass off

"Three? No! I only skipped one grade, and that was in 8th grade when I got moved up" I say, once my laughter died down

"Oh, so I guess my classmates are as dramatic as any other class" He pauses, taking the last bit of his sandwich, and plopping it in his mouth

"Yea, you gotta be careful with everything they say"  And right after I said that, the bell rang, signaling that lunch was over, and that classes are now starting back up " Well, see you later guys" I wave, getting up and get ready for my next class, which is home ec
