Conor's P.O.V

"Jack just please, it would be amazing"

"The beach did you say, okay then, what do you want me to do?"

"You're the best honestly. Oh, just make it romantic, with flowers and stuff, don't go overboard though, she doesn't like that. Simplicity is the key to her heart"

"Okay I'll try my best, just don't give it away now Con, please"

"Baby are you ready to go to Waitrose?"

"Wait a second Jess"

"Jack I'll have to go, speak to you later, okay?"

"Oh shit did she hear anything you think?"

"No but I'll have to end it here"

"Good, see you later then, bye"

Sighing of relief do I sit down in my office chair, leaning my head back as I close my eyes.

"Sorry babe, I was on the phone to Jack, I just have to get ready and then we can get going"

Leaving my office do I catch a glimpse of my beautiful girlfriend as she sneaks around the corner of the corridor.

"Hurry up you lazy shit, the others are arriving in two hours"

Her voice echoes through the house as she run down the stairs and I just chuckle, shaking my head as I walk over to our bedroom to get changed from my tracksuit bottoms into a pair of jeans and a clean hoodie.

"You got the keys babe?"

I stop the front door from closing with my foot as I wait on her to answer, double checking my pockets for a second time.

"Yeah I've got them, come on now"

Letting the door shut behind me do I jog over to our black Mercedes, jumping in to the drivers seat as I quickly start the engine.

I smile over at Jess before I steal a quick kiss making her roll her eyes jokingly.

"Sometimes I wonder why I'm still with you after five years of you totally mocking with me"

"Because you love me"

She giggle, as I let my hand rest on her thigh, giving it a light squeeze as I stop for a red stoplight.

"Yeah that's probably why"

Giving me the cutest smile do I almost forget to drive as the light in front of us turn green.

She still had that effect on me, making me forget about the world around me as soon as her eyes caught contact with mine.

"Why have you bought flowers babe?"

Jess pick up the bouquet of roses that I'd put in the trolley whilst she'd been gone collecting some veggies.

"It's Valentine's day Jessie and the boys will think I'm the worst if I don't even get you some flowers"

"Since when have we celebrated Valentine's though and they have never judged you for it before"

I sigh grabbing the flowers from here and putting them back into the trolley.

"Before we had Leonelle and yes they've always teased me for not highlighting the fact that's it the day of love, you just never see it"

She chuckle, wrapping her arms around my neck making me tilt my head down so that she can kiss me.
