Jungkook x Reader

You and Jungkook were best friends since kindergarten and there was nothing you did without him. Your mom and Kookie's mom were good friends too which meant you got to spend more time with him.

There was a really beautiful place you and Jungkook usually went to. The lake. It was special to you since the little boy would always sing songs to you when you were sad.

He really loved singing..he even confessed that someday he will become an idol. "But Kookie.." you spoke "Don't you think that your dream might change?" - "Hah! no way! you'll see! one day I'm standing on stage..!" he grinned what made you giggle at his silliness.

One day the two of you met again but this time he had something to tell you. "Um..Y/N..?" he looked down as he awkwardly scratched his head. "Yes? what's wrong?" - "I um..will you ever change your opinion on me being your best friend if I'm not here for a long time?"

His words confused you but also they worried you at the same time. "What? I won't! Jungkook tell me what you mean.." - "My parents and I are moving to Busan..today. Our flight is in three hours.." You were shocked. Your eyes wandered to the ground and just as you were about to say something, Jungkook hugged you tightly. You were crying into his shirt. Something you could never imagine just became reality. Being without your best friend.

"L-look at me.." Jungkook said softly as you looked up, sniffling. He wiped your tears with his thumb before taking your little hand in his. "We will meet again..okay? We will stay besties forever..okay? I promise one day I'll even marry you! just please..don't cry.."

What the little boy said made you laugh and blush a little "Marry me? Oh come on..~" - "No, I'm serious..here!" he pulled out a small note and a crayon he kept in his pocket. Writing as good as he could.

I, Jeon Jungkook, promise to marry (L/N) (Y/N)"

He even made some werid doodles which were supposed to be a signature. Giving the little paper to you, he smiled lightly when he saw your blank face. At this moment his mother called out to him and he gave you one more tight hug and a kiss on the cheek which made you blush bright red. A small squeak escaped your lips as you watched him leave.

"Jeon Jungkook...I will never forget you..." you said to yourself

~13 years later~

You're now 18 years old and on your way to Korea for an exchange project. You didn't know much about the family who you were supposed to stay with for a month but you prayed it wouldn't be anyone weird.

You sat in your seat and next to you were two girls who were screaming over something. It annoyed you how loud they were. The only thing you could understand inbetween the muffled words was "BTS Concert"

Who the hell are BTS? you thought for a second but quickly shrugged it off. You were not going to Korea to question who these girls meant. You were there to study. Putting on your headphones you closed your eyes and relaxed for the rest of the flight.

6:00am Seoul

 You heared the stewardess say that the plane is about to land at the Seoul Airport. Finally..

A small sigh comming from you. It's been how many hours now since you've been sitting in your seat in one position. When the plane landed everybody made their way out to pick up their luggage. So did you. Taking your suitcase you looked for someone who held a sign with your last name on it but appearently nobody came.
